[ link to hraun.vedur.is] look at the way the tremor is just hovering at the 100 nm/s mark 4 and a half days now of it not dipping below that mark found something interesting about 100nm/sec.. [ link to www.volcano.si.edu] Figure 36. Seismicity recorded at Stromboli, 27 June-29 September 1994. Open bars show the number of recorded events/day, the solid bars those with ground velocities >100 Nm/s (instrument saturation level). The line shows daily tremor energy computed by averaging hourly 60-second samples. The seismic station is located 300 m from the craters at 800 m elevation. [ link to www.volcano.si.edu] so, the instrument saturation level at one of the world's most active volcanos is a tremor breached routinely by Katla?
