found an interesting link on 18th century natural phenomena 1755, when Katla erupted big, was a FUN year.. [ link to www.phenomena.org.uk] a lot of shit happened to europe that year. a repeat would send this forum into meltdown read through the other years as well. a shitload of stuff happened in the past Thank you for an interesting chronicle of events, there is something to think about! This remarkable event i guess also confirms our thinking that the most likely candidate for an eruption in the near future is a volcanic complex from Hekla to Torfajokull.
