Earthquake activity has been more frequent around Lassen Peak since the beginning of the year. Winter weather is wreaking havoc with seismic monitors in the region...
An earthquake swarm occurred early today at, or near Cerro Negro volcano (Nicaragua) (station CNGN). Small local earthquakes also affected Momotombo volcano (station MOMN), and Concepcion volcano (station CONN) as well...

Tungurahua volcano (Ecuador): new eruptive phase
Current seismic signal from Tungurahua (RETU station, IG)The volcano has resumed eruptive activity after a brief pause of some weeks. Sign of a new magma intrusion, tremor and earthquakes have increased again and the volcano has started to erupt black ash, presumably from juvenile (fresh) magma, which has deposited on the lower slopes of the volcano.
