meanwhile another volcanologist at last spoke at least more or less certain about El Hierro (also very carefully, but progress - a move towards long ago expressed here are forecast - is obvious tounge)

As long as the hypocentres at El Hierro are very deep (20 km or so), the chances of an eruption will be very low. We have to remember that a magmatic intrusion with high seismicity and ground deformation does not always end up in an eruption. I can remember what happened in norhern Iceland in 1990 when this kind of intrusion occurred at Krafla volcano. Tiltmeters had recorded a strong inflation in the area and I could feel the earthquakes while camping at Reykjalid. Actually, nothing happened and the eruption aborted.

i remind again :
in comparison to some fearmorgening sites ohyeah
we are told about it here at once, on the first day when the tremors began

but that now much more important: the spanish volcanologists long overdue to think seriously about the general trend of processes occurring near the islands and attract them to a comprehensive analysis of good experts in the field of tectonics
