A Sicilian friend has just told me that from now on, it is advisable, before starting a visit to Mount Etna, to consult the Civil Defence website in order to know the level of danger. Note that the site is in Italian and it is necessary to know this language to understand what is written!

This morning, the webcams reveal that minor strombolian activity occurred at the NSE Crater during the night. The next hours will tell us whether these are the signs of a new paroxysm.
