Its Saturday night nothing on the TV worth watching, so I'm reading the conspiracy forum

Come with me on a leap of faith.....
lets suppose that some one, some where knows what is going to happen. i.e a mass die out of human kind.

What would be done to preserve human kind.

First you would need to preserve crops, not just short term, but long term. And you would need a diverse range to include different climates. Call me cynical but isn't this already in place with the seed vault?

Next in any society, man, and woman, cannot live on vegetables alone (I know there are exceptions to the rule, and respect their decision) but the majority of humans live on meat and two vegetables.
To preserve this at short notice you would need to know the location of healthy cattle. How about tagging cattle and keeping a log of them – again call me cynical but isn't this already happening?

Next in any mass die out of human kind, in the short term, you would need to bury the bodies. To do so you either have mass graves, or individual coffins. Again call me cynical , but haven’t I seen mass plastic coffins somewhere?

Next, wouldn't you want to preserve the knowledge of human kind. Information changes quickly nowadays, you would need some method of preserving the knowledge in a relatively small place and . Books take up too much room, and need to be transported. Call me cynical but the isn't “information Highway” is ideal for this purpose?

You would also kneed to know where key people are, so that they can be moved at a moments notice. I am not just talking about leaders but information people, people that have key skills. You would need some way of tracking these people. Call me cynical but can't you track people using mobile phones?

Plans are in place, the chess pieces are being positioned...
