I guess in that regard the human language is very limiting. It's like an artificial tunnel vision we've built for ourselves to make sense of the world around us. Like a bird, is not a bird. That's just what that sound sounds like spelt out in our english language. What is it really? An organism that flys, but even that is limiting.

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10752623 Good point - if Birds were big, the language would have evolved to probably name them Boords or Boards I know that sounds daft..but think about it, what words apart from big and small, have a big vowel sound (open vocal cavity) for a small 'thing' and vice versa.
