I'm a sun retard. Could those sun tornadoes the media showed recently have anything to do with this?

That's a good question. It's plausible. IMHO

Hey guys, check it out. 5 very close proximity Gamma Ray Burst in less than a week. Very close to our position too. They could cause a lot of seismic activity and could also explain some of the weird geomagnetic conditions that we have been experiencing.

[link to grb.sonoma.edu]

Calculate the constellation points of origin then add 6 days to the date of burst fast forward earth to that date and guesstimate what region, on earth, would be effected by this. Maybe someone here can calculate this for us. They usually arrive between 6 to 9 days. Remember that these GRB's can cause ripples in space in the form of electromagnetic waves and have been known to rumble and trigger quakes here on earth.
 Quoting: El Quisqueyano

Attention:

Within 10 days of a massive GRB comes a massive 6+ Earthquake on Earth.

Mechanism:

GRB = piezoelectric effect = ground charge increase = movement of earth...

Solarham statement;

Added 2/18/2012 @ 22:55 UTC
Solar Wind
The solar wind is at higher levels due to an incoming Coronal Hole (CH) stream. The Bz is also pointing South at times and this could help disturb the geomagnetic field at high latitudes.
 Quoting: El Quisqueyano

But according to NICT it's not wind it's something dense;

3-day Solar-Geophysical Forecast issued Feb 18 22:00 UTC

Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a chance for C-class activity for the next three days (19 - 21 February).

Geophysical Activity Forecast:

The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels, with isolated active periods, on day one (19 February) due to recurrent CH HSS effects. By days two and three (20 - 21 February), a return to mostly quiet levels is expected.

Out of no where we get this geomagnetic anomaly, Sun has had no action recently to effect our magnetosphere. What could this possibly be? Coronal Hole? Gravitational wave from GRB(not the focused energy from GRB but the 360deg shock-wave)?

Could it be the "ribbon" of high temperature gas / dust / energy that we discovered at the edge of the heliosphere?

The IBEX satellite was sent up to image the thing which is light years long and we are heading straight into it. It's thought that it could energise the Sun and play havoc with our magnetosphere.

Well Q we've had some decent pressure so far today you think its the GRB from 2/12
