Is it possible that life is an illusion?

If life is an illusion, why can't I fly? Or move through walls? Or teleport to any location that I desire? Or summon characters or things?

If life is an illusion, it is very limited. So maybe life isn't an illusion afterall.

I considered that before until getting falsely arrested and spending a long time in jail. Nope. Its VERY VERY real unfortunately.

You wake up by paying more attention to the real reality, rather than the illusion. But that happens in time...at everyone's own pace, and in different ways.

All of the things that were mentioned still occur within a dream and are possible in various ways.

I have a question for you: what if we're all dead but, we just don't know it yet?

What if... you found out that this life is nothing more than a simulation.

You know, I was thinking about this same thing a while back! What if life on Earth is some form of purgatory especially since we have A LOT of moral issues to deal with here.

Because that was what you were taught to do...

Sorry I'm not following you. As far as I know, no body can fly and nobody can walk through walls etc even if a person agrees or believes that he/she can. Otherwise we'd see numerous people doing crazy things all over the place.

You missed the point of how we may know what death is without life, however.

We all have original thought, but you are correct; we are taught that our thought does not count when it comes to the status quo. You just make yourself an outsider, is all.

You soon forget that because the feeling of needing to belong makes normal logic a thing of the past...

At that point you distance yourself from your better self. The self that knows better. The better part that knows real truths.

Then I'd say Time is just an illusion, everything has already happened already. We are just experiencing in a "delayed" form, as if we're in a dream.




Yes, this is similar. But a simulation for what? This is simulating ...life? What's the difference?

Therein lies the lessons. That we utilize our consciousness 100% of the time when experiencing and making decisions.

This is the truth, and in an illusion you would feel pain. And feel stimulation. Yet in an illusion, it would be fake.

IN a way.

The funny thing. That is exactly what it is.

When you find that the actual input of external stimulation has a delay in perception, during which the brain "mirrors" all the information. "We" perceive the mirror. Not the information.



So this is an illusion to the more serious parts of us.

But how does that add up? How do we become that part and how does our knowledge become one with that?
