i dont have a religious background and dont know the workings of catholism.

are there similarities between catholism and communism?

communism, as i know it, is where a small group(the government) has all the power and owns all property. the group with the power provides for the masses and dictates what the public should and should not do. the masses cannot voice their disagreement with what the power says. they must obey, or at least not let the power see that they dont agree.
