If that could be used to compare to that of which we speak, the new testament would never have been added because those words you quote were spoken WAY before Jesus walked here..."The spiritual powers that were" at that time would have not allowed the addition. But, obviously the new testament was added as new revelation by those who decided it should be.

Again I say, that is why trinity is Father/Son/Spirit NOT Father/Son/Scripture. And besides all that, if I as an individual am not to diminish that which is commanded, one of the things commanded to me was "DO NOT PUT THE HOLY SPIRIT IN A BOX"...
