Anonymous Coward User ID: 11028254 United States 02/20/2012 10:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | After a stoke my husband signed up for disability. He has been out of work for almost two years. They sent him to a neurologist and all he did was have him touch his nose, and walk with one foot in front of the other. He would not let him tell about his symptoms. They did not get the hospital records of his heart attack or his stoke. It took 3 times longer to turn him down the first time and now they have been twice as long for his appeal. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10418187 It seems like they are making sure that he has lost everything he owns. Why? Your husband NEEDS an disability attorney. They KNOW tricks that you dont!!! Yes they will get about 25% from the final calculation when it is approved, but after waiting for so long, the disability retroactive pay will be in the thousands so it IS worth it, and your husband has a better chance in getting it. Binder and Binder have offices through out the US. Check them out! |

Check them out! actually I didn't do the attorney when I had some of those issues, I bitched back, had to go to court though but did not take an attorney, I took my counselor who had a good idea of me and that did the trick without giving 25% to an attorney, thats a rip off. |

Get first, second, third, fourth, fifth opinions. hire a ss lawyer, do whatever it takes. There's no reason for social security to ignore medical history and current real implications. |
