It's because most are all working slaves and believe that this is the way they are supposed to be. "All work & pay tax mode"! They haven't a single thought of the future outside of their own simplistic reality. That's why when disater strikes, most go into immediate shock and cannot function.

Re: Does anyone else feel like you are talking to cavemen when you are out in the real world?
A curious side effect of the general dumbing down is how easy it has become to muck around with people, organisations or companies. Because when those entities start to believe their own lies, they can't recognize anymore when they get played to.
It's a bit like the people immune to mass manipulation have become little lonely gods, giving the bastards a bit of their own medicine.
I don't say that with glee. It just feels weird. For example when a local 3rd grade celebrity asks you for your opinion on something in the morning, and then in the afternoon you hear them in a radio show selling the views you told them before as their own to the public. That's the sound of empty, insecure human shells. Not funny, just sad.

Superiority

One of the biggest consequences a seeker who “enlightens his/her ego” will find is that of a stronger sense of superiority. We begin to look at ourselves as already awakened or wise and thus we look at everyone else in society who does not speak of the same things as un-awakened or unwise. Our family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, bosses, leaders… all of them suddenly become the ‘sheep’ while we remain the ‘good guys’, the awakened, in our mind. We see them as blind to reality and judge them accordingly for this. Thus we seek to awaken them by telling them our perspective on life, on reality, and when they reject this notion or do not understand what we are saying we become frustrated and angry. This of course only shows how un-awakened we truly are, for, a truly awakened person will not act out in frustration or anger at anyone, even those who are rejecting what we ‘know’ to be the truth. Christ and Buddha are perfect examples of this.

Well I don't think we really get angry and frustrated towards the dumb people, we get angry and frustrated because we feel lonely in such a drab and dire world. Everyone looks for company. We get sick when we can't find it.

What if all those other "primitive" people are just biobots or something. And conscious people are in the minority ... I am starting to think maybe this might be true. What if everything is just an experiment and we are the guinea pigs.

I think of the 1970s and 1980s as the golden days, because around that time you could actually quite often have meaningful, intelligent conversations with total strangers. People were generally more bright, had sparkling personalities and were independently minded.

In contrast, nowadays it's even a happy day when I can have a mediocre so-so conversation with family members or friends.

It's some kind of mind virus. Only a few of us are immune. Personally I'm not sure if that's a good thing, because not being able to be content with TV shows and booze makes one lonely.

Mankind is fucked up. We're ruled by criminals. The Internet could be a tool for our freedom, but somehow it doesn't work for unifying the masses for a new vision for our future. That's because the Internet is also the biggest machine ever invented for distracting people. It connects us, and at the same time destroys our minds. I don't have much hope for us.

The change is engineered. People have been dumbed down through bad education, but also I think there are a lot of messed up people getting born now, with autism, retardation, whatever you want to call it, ADHD, scrambled brains. Zombies for real. It must be the inevitable result of all the toxic stuff in the environment. A race of zombies for real. How much longer before everyone is messed up?

Re: Does anyone else feel like you are talking to cavemen when you are out in the real world?
OK, I get and can relate to everything people here are saying. However, I want to point out that more people are waking up than ever before.

There has never been such an opportunity to meet like-minded people. Even if they are not completely awake (and there are many different levels), people are at least beginning to question things and are seeking answers. It is a great time to reach out to people, even if it is just in subtle ways.

Also remember that those who are awake tend to be cautious about showing it. So you can just throw out a comment here or there to get their reaction. If they are zombies, then it won't really matter what you said b/c they just won't get it, anyway. Just return to the previous subject or something else, altogether.

Another thing that works well is when you talk to someone about a subject, include them as if they already know what you are talking about. For instance, one time I was at the bank working with a lady bank employee. The bank tvs had something on about Bin Laden's death. I made a comment something to the effect of: Can you believe that they think anyone is really buying this story? etc.

Another example happened recently. I was activating a credit card and the guy said I'm here in sunny xxx, TX. I said Oh, you're in A - J country. I figured he wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about, but I threw out the bone anyway. We ended up talking about all sorts of things, including Ron Paul and liberty ideas. He said the conversation had made his day and I told him likewise. So, what was the likelihood that we would get randomly connected? But we were and would not have had any kind of exchange if a comment hadn't been put out there that opened the door.

The other thing to keep in mind is that most of us were asleep at some point and possibly not all that interesting ourselves.

So please do not give up on people. We are at a critical time in history when those who are awake need to learn to communicate with those who are not.

Re: Does anyone else feel like you are talking to cavemen when you are out in the real world?
I just got back from the bar and all I saw around me was primitive consciousness. All the conversations revolved around sex, alcohol, and tribal rituals (sports). I almost feel like an alien when I talk to old friends or strangers. I meditate and spend a lot of time in deep thought and when I am around a group of people, it's almost like I can predict their thoughts and feelings. I just try to pretend like I care about trivial matters that effect them, but it's almost impossible for me to involve myself in their lives because I can see the outcome of all their relationships and actions. It's a very detached and lonely existence, but I'm not sure what to do about it. It's like I am an observer and operating at a level above 3d reality.

Anyone else feel this way?

Yes, This site in itself is educational and broadbands your knowledge even with the hateful aussies and Brits that constantly dig on us for being Americans. We can't help it if our gov wants to be the world police. Of course I want to believe we do it because that's what Americans do because we can. You find that you can't share your views with most because they look at you like your crazy so you keep it to yourself. Here we are like minded people. The folks in bars are just ignorant, not necessarily stupid.
You want them to know what you know but they can only see the light when it's their time if it should ever come within their lifetime. They would have to shut the TV off and most aren't ready to do that. You can't help them.

Plato's Cave
From Wiki:
Plato lets Socrates describe a group of people who have lived chained to the wall of a cave all of their lives, facing a blank wall. The people watch shadows projected on the wall by things passing in front of a fire behind them, and begin to ascribe forms to these shadows. According to Plato's Socrates, the shadows are as close as the prisoners get to viewing reality. He then explains how the philosopher is like a prisoner who is freed from the cave and comes to understand that the shadows on the wall do not make up reality at all, as he can perceive the true form of reality rather than the mere shadows seen by the prisoners.

The Allegory is related to Plato's Theory of Forms, according to which the "Forms" (or "Ideas"), and not the material world of change known to us through sensation, possess the highest and most fundamental kind of reality. Only knowledge of the Forms constitutes real knowledge.[1] In addition, the Allegory of the Cave is an attempt to explain the philosopher's place in society: to attempt to enlighten the "prisoners".

Now I know we all buy stuff we don't need sometimes, myself included, but what I see every day is way beyond ridiculous.

These people walk around the store looking for something--anything to buy.

They look blank and desperate at the same time.
What are they really trying to find?

I stand there and think about what we have become.

Good observation. They are looking for themselves. They think they will find that in some "thing" outside themselves...ever see "Hoarders" or known someone who hoards?

What they are looking for is within, but society, our schools, and our parents never teach that. That is the last place most people look for love, joy and fulfillment.

The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

I agree.

Stay positive.

I can totally relate to people's frustration in dealing with the 'folks'. It does indeed feel like a sci fi movie at times. Embrace the humor and carpet bomb the criminal cult with truth vibes. It's a bit like a vampire's weakness to exposure of sunlight. It's why "they" spend the amount of money on organizations to silence and stifle free thought.

Re: Does anyone else feel like you are talking to cavemen when you are out in the real world?
I have to wonder if it might have anything to do with digital cable? EM pulse, Harp etc.

Maybe it's this OP

You, me, others like us here who all feel the same. We are from a different more evolved place. At some point in our lives we received a signal, we woke up, we started questioning everything, we responded to the energy being sent to us.
The others did not. These souls inhabiting these bodies are sleepers. They don't wake up because they are artificially suppressed? They have free will and the power to create the reality they desire yet don't' do it.

Or perhaps that is the best their human vessel can do. We still know how to think critically and probably do alot of thinking in our heads.

I've wondered if maybe they don't do this. Maybe they don't have all the neurons firing as frequently. They don't thirst for knowledge and self improvement. They don't seek spiritual enlightenment. They are the majority and they are comfortable in group think.

We are the minority and are perhaps going extinct.

If you were ever in the gifted minds program, maybe this was govt trying to see who would be the awake ones and reject the matrix. I dunno but something sets apart those who actively seek knowledge vs those who just walk along in a daydream.

Very nice thread OP thanks! It has actually hit some synchronicity with my own personal struggle.

It seems that my inner struggle is the knowledge gained. It can bring anger, as knowledge can corrupt or enlighten you. I'm sure some of you have swings from one side to another on a daily basis. When amoungst the cavemen it is sometimes hard to have the resolve and you have to remind yourself they are only ignorant and not stupid. Definately caught up in the Matrix. God, Allah, Annunaki, Greys, Paladians, all of the above, none of the above. Which way do I go, which way do I go, Which way......

Re: Does anyone else feel like you are talking to cavemen when you are out in the real world?
I can relate :/

It's just an akward feeling, I don't think of myself as superior, but lately it just seems like people are acting against all common sense. You could think that nowadays with all the access we have to information/music/videos, these newer generations would be the brightest the world has ever seen, and yet it seems backwards. It's like talent and intelligence are no longer valued, once I heard a girl in my class say "Omg I failed the test, whatever... failing is way cooler than being a nerdo LOL". And there's a dude that sometimes sits next to me and spends the whole class looking at stupid memes instead of actually paying attention to our teacher, so fucking pathetic!

I mean... wtf man, I can't stand it. Same thing with my friends, even though I considered most of them to be on the same page with me, I feel like I can't have an intelligent conversation with anyone. I've tried to wake many people up, but they're so influenced by the standars of society that it's basically impossible.

The key word: detached.

I feel extremely detached from most. Their tone and content of conversation literally makes me drift off and micro-think about something else. It's like having an out of body experience.

I can't do small-talk. It's just impossible. Most people I'm around seem to be on a different frequency than I.
I'm not saying theirs is a lower frequency only, a different one. They talk about idle nonsense. Nothing deep or thought provoking.

I am tuned into nature, animals, flowers, trees, water, insect and birds. I connect with that because somehow, I get where those elements are coming from whereas I don't get most people.

So OP, you're totally not alone. I definitely feel alone most of the time but being with others is an even lonelier because I feel like a fortunate outcast.

Exactly. It's like nothing is even real anymore. I try to talk to people and they are texting or on facebook. We are so totally disconnected with the natural world, each other, and the present. Being around people has become very difficult lately and I find myself wanting to be by myself almost all the time.
Everything is so goddamn fake nowadays. Fake jobs that provide nothing of real value, fake food that provide no nutrition, and fake relationships that don't mean shit. Re: Does anyone else feel like you are talking to cavemen when you are out in the real world?
Does thing seem like you?

As an INFJ, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you take things in primarily via intuition. Your secondary mode is external, where you deal with things according to how you feel about them, or how they fit with your personal value system.

INFJs are gentle, caring, complex and highly intuitive individuals. Artistic and creative, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. Only one percent of the population has an INFJ Personality Type, making it the most rare of all the types.

INFJs place great importance on havings things orderly and systematic in their outer world. They put a lot of energy into identifying the best system for getting things done, and constantly define and re-define the priorities in their lives. On the other hand, INFJs operate within themselves on an intuitive basis which is entirely spontaneous. They know things intuitively, without being able to pinpoint why, and without detailed knowledge of the subject at hand. They are usually right, and they usually know it. Consequently, INFJs put a tremendous amount of faith into their instincts and intuitions. This is something of a conflict between the inner and outer worlds, and may result in the INFJ not being as organized as other Judging types tend to be. Or we may see some signs of disarray in an otherwise orderly tendency, such as a consistently messy desk.

INFJs have uncanny insight into people and situations. They get "feelings" about things and intuitively understand them. As an extreme example, some INFJs report experiences of a psychic nature, such as getting strong feelings about there being a problem with a loved one, and discovering later that they were in a car accident. This is the sort of thing that other types may scorn and scoff at, and the INFJ themself does not really understand their intuition at a level which can be verbalized. Consequently, most INFJs are protective of their inner selves, sharing only what they choose to share when they choose to share it. They are deep, complex individuals, who are quite private and typically difficult to understand. INFJs hold back part of themselves, and can be secretive.

But the INFJ is as genuinely warm as they are complex. INFJs hold a special place in the heart of people who they are close to, who are able to see their special gifts and depth of caring. INFJs are concerned for people's feelings, and try to be gentle to avoid hurting anyone. They are very sensitive to conflict, and cannot tolerate it very well. Situations which are charged with conflict may drive the normally peaceful INFJ into a state of agitation or charged anger. They may tend to internalize conflict into their bodies, and experience health problems when under a lot of stress.

Because the INFJ has such strong intuitive capabilities, they trust their own instincts above all else. This may result in an INFJ stubborness and tendency to ignore other people's opinions. They believe that they're right. On the other hand, INFJ is a perfectionist who doubts that they are living up to their full potential. INFJs are rarely at complete peace with themselves - there's always something else they should be doing to improve themselves and the world around them. They believe in constant growth, and don't often take time to revel in their accomplishments. They have strong value systems, and need to live their lives in accordance with what they feel is right. In deference to the Feeling aspect of their personalities, INFJs are in some ways gentle and easy going. Conversely, they have very high expectations of themselves, and frequently of their families. They don't believe in compromising their ideals.

INFJ is a natural nurturer; patient, devoted and protective. They make loving parents and usually have strong bonds with their offspring. They have high expectations of their children, and push them to be the best that they can be. This can sometimes manifest itself in the INFJ being hard-nosed and stubborn. But generally, children of an INFJ get devoted and sincere parental guidance, combined with deep caring.

In the workplace, the INFJ usually shows up in areas where they can be creative and somewhat independent. They have a natural affinity for art, and many excel in the sciences, where they make use of their intuition. INFJs can also be found in service-oriented professions. They are not good at dealing with minutia or very detailed tasks. The INFJ will either avoid such things, or else go to the other extreme and become enveloped in the details to the extent that they can no longer see the big picture. An INFJ who has gone the route of becoming meticulous about details may be highly critical of other individuals who are not.

The INFJ individual is gifted in ways that other types are not. Life is not necessarily easy for the INFJ, but they are capable of great depth of feeling and personal achievement.

Jungian functional preference ordering:

Dominant: Introverted Intuition
Auxilliary: Extraverted Feeling
Tertiary: Introverted Thinking
Inferior: Extraverted Sensing

Re: Does anyone else feel like you are talking to cavemen when you are out in the real world?

No, it seems like a chosenite head shrinker trying to justify why people "hate" them.

So instead of inward reflection they continue to scam the 'cattle' using psycho babble and the mass media to guilt trip people into buying into their megadeath agenda.

Not gonna happen. Got that?

Re: Does anyone else feel like you are talking to cavemen when you are out in the real world?
The key word: detached.

I feel extremely detached from most. Their tone and content of conversation literally makes me drift off and micro-think about something else. It's like having an out of body experience.

So OP, you're totally not alone. I definitely feel alone most of the time but being with others is an even lonelier because I feel like a fortunate outcast.

Many on this site tend to be either an INFP or INFJ on the briggs/myers personality profile. We tend to be highly detached, abstract type thinkers...and yes, we despise all forms of "small talk."

Yes, you are right. Probably INTPs and INTJs on here, too. But this thread is definitely reminiscent of a feeler type, b/c NTs just don't care all that much about other people. :)

Let me clarify that - NT's just don't care all that much about what other people think about them, meaning they don't internalize things as much as feelers do.
