An unusually strong whirlpool emerged near the coast of South Africa
As reported today the Daily Mail, the NASA satellite - Terra (EOS AM-1) at December 26, 2011 recorded a giant whirlpool near the coast of South Africa (see the photo at the top of this article). The width of the whirlpool is 170 kilometers and it is located a few hundred meters below of the water surface.
