The prime why greece could take down Wall St is this...

If someone can murder someone else and get nothing more than a $5 fine, the next day 1000 others will bump off their annoying neighbours.

The same is true here. If Greece can get away with default and no-one does anything, next week, Portugal and Spain will go bust, the week later, Italy, Ireland etc will go bang and so on and so on.

...With the USA being the biggest to go bust and default a month or two later.

d) Hundreds of well-off families with big houses in Athens and holiday houses in the islands are doing reconnaissance in Australia and Canada looking to move their whole families as there will be no new jobs for their children finishing degrees. Australia is telling them that they will have to live in rural areas if they want to move here.
 Quoting: Possum

"After World War II and during the civil war in Greece that followed, over 160,000 Greeks came to Australia, mostly to Victoria. Initially, the majority found work in factories or farms as unskilled or semi-skilled labour – even educated migrants had to settle for a manual job. "

Sounds like 1945 all over again but without the war, this time its because of the economy.

According to American liberals, all they need to do is tax the rich and all will be well.

They should try that.

...but that is also what Obama and his Socialist Czars are trying to do to the USA right now posthaste.

Indeed. This is how we will be within the next couple of years. Government employees and their stellar retirements and benefits will drag us down, along with our trillions in debt.
