MEGA9.0 Quake and New Tower/Skyscraper Link?

Was this what the ancients were trying to harness when they built th Tower of Babel in the Bible story?

there's biblical pretext of a link between skyscrapers and earthquakes, as evidenced in this fascinating story from genesis 11:

it's after the great flood and the whole world speaks the same language. they decide to build a tower to the heavens to 'make a name' and prevent themselves from being scattered over the whole earth. so they start on this tower project and god gets concerned that man is unified and has a little skitzo session with himself where he decides to go down and confuse their language to scatter them. afterwards there's an earthquake that destroys the tower.

edit -- i blew the dust off my bible to verify my facts and there's no actual mention of an earthquake.. interesting. i grew up thinking there was an earthquake at the end of that story.

i honestly don't know

this is one of those brief mentions in the bible that i wish had more backstory info.

i personally think it's reasonable to assume that higher atmosphere has different electrical potential than earth.. this is why lightning occurs.

so a tall metal skyscraper (or sky tree in this case) would constantly conduct this electrical potential charge, grounding out the atmosphere into the earth, imho
