The greatest fear of all
Most people on this board bring up things to be afraid of...

The greatest fear for myself as well as most of you would be:

A slow squashing of the economy at such a pace as to not allow you or any one else to react to it.

This is what is going on and there is no way to make people afraid of something that is slowly killing you.

We will all be able to buy less and less and need our jobs more and more... at a slow pace.

There will be no "Heading for the Hills" scenario.
or
Big government suddenly rounding people up.
or
Nuclear war with (Who ever).
or
Earthquakes and tsunamis killing everyone.

It will be a slow tedious painful down-grade of our lives until the point where we think it is normal to be controlled by governments.

I could care less about amenities.. I could live like a caveman and be happy if need be.

However..
Burning a slow death in fire..
Now that.. scares me.

My point is not :

"What you are quickly afraid of".
What you are quickly afraid of you will react to...quickly.

Therefore my greatest fear and one I assume MUST take place is the S L O W down-grading of the human will to respond.

It's very painless and therefore what I WOULD do to manipulate the human population.
As long as the "Nudging" in the direction I want you to go is slow and taken in very small increments ... you and most everyone else will "Move" in that direction.

Fast change makes people react violently.
S L O W change renders people to almost helplessness. Much like sheep or cattle.

Same.

From a farm so having a whores bath is not something I would be too worried about.

Or using grass/stick to wipe after a crap.
Do not take memories of what happened yesterday, into what might happen today.

Re: The greatest fear of all
A good analogy Steven.

If you think about it, this slow movement towards control by "whatever government" is the scariest thing of all because no body will react to stop it.

Eventually we are placed in the position of "RELYING" on our governments to solve the problem.

This has been going on for about the last thousand years.

Look at where we are as compared to how things were a thousand years ago. Government has given the illusion that they are doing things to make our world better but things aren't really better... we are just more dependent upon them to solve our problems like:
I need a job
I need more education
I need a house
I need people to not smoke around me
I need the fast food restaurant to serve more healthy food
I need people to not be racist
I need company's to be liable for me buying their product and something goes wrong with it
I need to be taxed less
I need rich people to be taxed more

All these and many more are things we have slowly asked ou government to handle for us. This is not the way life is meant to be....
You need... You fix it. That is how it should be handled but more and more we have decided that it is "governments" job to fix things that are a problem for us.

At first glance this seems not scarey at all ... until you see where it will lead... total reliability onour government to fix things.

How do make people afraid of something that takes a thousand years to occur????

U need to study history young one... They used to be brutal to exact loyalty and service... Now that is reserved for prison... We live in a Rights and Privlidges society where we have swung more to the privileges side of things for many reasons however if you are savvy, smart, nimble, and focused you can retain some rights and exact more freedom in your life... Spend time on the 60ish years you'll be lucky to have... Enjoy life

Your response is exactly what I am talking about.
You have the illusion that things are better because there are "Laws" that make some of the people have to abid by.

Does everyone have to abide by the rules??? NO.
If you are rich or powerful enough you don't.

In America ... back when it was "uncivilized" ( a mere 150 years ago). When some one wronged you , you could call them out in a duel and put an end to the injustice. That can not be done now because we have given all our power to the government.

This thread will drop into obscurity because no-one wants to think that they would be manipulated in such a slow methodical manor.

Thus ... it is what I think will occur and there is no stopping it.
ergo, The greatest fear of all.

The country is falling apart and you're suggesting people are blind to it. I would disagree.

People are Bugging Out. Quitting. Turning to Crime. Not Paying Taxes. Buying Guns.

I see it all the time.

The magnitude of the lies in the media is astronomical.

If this is the first depression you've ever experienced you may assume its going to be a slow grind down to the bottom ...

BUT LET ME TELL YOU - ITS A PLUNGE LIKE NOBODY HAS EVER SEEN BEFORE.

Re: The greatest fear of all
You can trace back the stepping stones to where we are now back to the 20th and maybe even the late 19th century.

The end goal has always been a World Government and World Bank so the control of the planet ends up in the hands of the very, very few.

What's interesting is the speed in which the stepping stones are coming into play. Something in the last two years has forced them to up the game and push though laws and changes which appear to be happening quick enough for people to finally see.

The greatest fear of all could possibly be the best thing to ever happen to this planet...
Be the change you want the World to be. Be with someone that makes you happy.

Thus the greatest fear of all.

Some zombie is going to eat your face off.

Be afraid. The government can't and won't protect you.

Your friends neighbors and acquaintances are the enemy.

They will do nothing while you scream for help.

They will ignore you.

Laws and pseudo lawyers. Where's your permit? The 80's and 90's have seen the US implement so much socialism... We Can't Pay For IT anymore.

Throw in unnecessary wars and the national/ state debt is overwhelming.

The US is functionally broke.

I think the people in charge are enjoying this slow torture. For whatever sick reason. Ever since the 60's it's gotten faster and worse, they are trying to get their maximum high on other peoples suffering. Once 911 happened it started to happen at a very fast pace and they won't be happy until every last one of us will be their full blown slaves. Don't be jealous of people getting welfare because in essence they are 90% slaves of this system. That won't last though, all these welfare recipients will have their food and homes taken away too, even some of the 1% as well.

As Jimmy Cliff sang " I'd rather be a poor man in my grave than living as a puppet or a slave"

It's been a number of months since I started this thread and I knew at the time that it would drop into obscurity.

So I have decided to revisit this "OPINION" of mine and see if anyone is begining to see the truth of what I was saying.

SLOW DOOM.

It will take years for this "End Game" process to be complete.

There will be no warning about the quick demise of the worlds economy. It will be a slow process. One that forces you and I to not "Head for the Hills".
TPTB can not afford to have a large percentage of the population heading for the hills and taking care of them selves.
SLOW strangulation is how it will happen and that is indeed how it IS happening.

My question:

Are there any out there that are beginning to see what I am talking about?

SLOW DOOM.

We are being slowly acclimated to things getting worse.
We are beginning to accept that things will be worse next year.
We are beginning to come to terms with our children being worse off than we have been.
