without using "appeal to authority" arguments, when the "authorities" are NASA shill-puppets and ignorant, pompous turds?

You really are a complete fraud.

And I suppose you're going to tell me the academic world is completely free of any social pressure?

Hell it's not like people can have their academic standing threatened for opposing theories like anthropogenic global warming. Oh wait they can be.

Hell it's not like people can be sent to jail for publishing research on certain subjects like controversial claims of mass killings. Oh wait they can be.

Oh and in case you need more proof:

My point is simply that the outer Golden Vizor should always be employed in Sun-lit EV Missions..

Re: Game Over for NASA Moon-Landing Hoax

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12512532

When I watched this video it was the final piece that confirmed it for me. Not only does his body language and eye movement show he is lying when he is speaking of being no the moon, but to say that even from the Command module the stars were not visible, and that space is just black, confirmed that he is lying.
 Quoting: LD 12790853

As someone who's studied body language, I have to disagree. I've seen many interviews with Armstrong and he's not a naturally comfortable speaker, displaying signs of nervousness. He has never been entirely comfortable in front of the camera, even before Apollo.

If you actually knew anything about body language, you'd know that it's almost impossible to tell when someone is lying. There's a great deal of myth about it, but there are very few useable signs, and none of them are reliable.

Body language is used consistantly in the legal field because it is a valid science, and while some extreme con men can get around most of the body's tells, the majority of people can not.
 Quoting: LD 12790853

Rubbish! Anyone trying to use body language as a justification for claiming someone in court is lying would likely find their case in serious trouble. It is not a "science", it's much more of an art, and one which doesn't claim to be foolproof or highly accurate. No judge would, I sincerely hope, take it as evidence, and anyone convicted using it would likely get off on appeal.

It's about as scientific as using a person's horoscope to determine their guilt. And I say that as someone who has learned a lot about body language, having been taught by an expert, the author of several books. I can pull a lot of tricks, read a lot of things about people, often get my way when I want to, but one thing I'd never do was to claim someone was lying purely on the basis of body language.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12793337

its quite easy to google and find out this poster is lying , body language is well known and every human can understand it , it's part of being human.

if you watch the interview he constantly looks down and to the right , looking down is sign of guilt and deception and looking down and right is sign of emotional problems , probably due to the lies he is spouting.

it's easy to research and every single human can do it.

I've gotta question for Astromut.

Since you've got so many answers for what must be repeating questions/arguments, and since you've been doing this for years (here and at Baut), why don't you just gather up all this, categorize it and make an eBook about it. Then instead of name calling and all the rest you could just refer people to the book and basically refuse to take on any debunking until the people have read your book.

Certainly you must get tired of handling the same arguments over and over, that is, unless you LIKE name calling and the rest. Surely you don't have such an overinflated ego that you NEED people to call 'stupid'.

Look how many time the "Stars Problem" comes up for instance. Same point(s) raised, same debunking every time. It must get tiresome.

Hey genius, why would the truth have to change each time it is stated? A valid factual answer/explaination to a query will always remain the same however many times that question is asked.

Example:
Q: What colour is grass?
A: Green.

Q: Tell me what colour grass is?
A: Doh! Er..Green.

Q: Do you know what colour grass is?
A: FFS! It still is green!

That is the way reality works, at least to sane people who are not interdimensional warriors with an IQ higher than Einstein.

OK, JerkyBoy. Try reading my post.

1st, you're not Astromut so BUTT OUT. Got that?
2nd, I'm asking him why he doesn't write a book to save time and aggravation. Can you figure that out?

If your IQ was higher than your belt size you'd get that.

If your IQ managed to get into 3 digits you'd realise this is a public forum where anyone can answer any post they choose to.

You'd also realise that no matter how many books, e-books, web sites, or even direct explanations are given, idiots like you who have a religious belief like this are never going to change their minds.

You've been asked many times, but never answered - what evidence or argument would change your mind, or even make you doubt your belief?

Which 'belief' do you refer to? I just have a bunch of unanswered questions. As for the jerk above, he didn't even answer the question. Just a rant. At least when I bring up a topic I don't just rant about it. Even the stuff I posted on this silly thread has some thought behind it, including some numbers. It's not like I just sit here calling people 'tards'. My cooling question got answered after a fashion, now all we have to do is handle the one about the debris on the pads.
