Freckles (OP) User ID: 688490 Puerto Rico 02/23/2012 01:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks much for this helpful thread ---> the gas price was $3.59/gallon Regular - last night, located in Texas in far western side of DFW metro, near the Joint Naval Reserve Base @ Alta Mere/Hwy 183 right off I-30; friend reported paying 16 cents cheaper in the more rural area of Lake Worth that is just north of the base this morning, $3.43/gallon so some better prices can be found. Quoting: Topaz Seriously urge all readers to go into full prep mode for basic survival in coming days as this gas situation is a big DOT imho. So try to quickly make common-sense emergency plans for your family for whatever's coming at us and this may be the real deal as too many other "wild card" factors are lining up. Meaning that it would be prudent to prepare for major events actually impacting ordinary citizens not only in unstable countries but also USA too: bizarre storms, mass-disasters, terrorist attacks or even attacks of warfare like invasions (including possible false-flag operations) that may occur or be attempted ... and these could come with all sorts of unexpected consequences! Do not assume anything - be aware & be alert !! One thing to keep in mind is that "Getting the hell outta Dodge" in a hurry may soon be key to keeping your family out of danger - so makes plans on where to go out into the rural regions, water resources, places to stay, etc. Also, check vehicle & do upkeep tasks NOW while you still can: tires, oil (buy extras of everything including safely store some extra gasoline for emergency use just in case TSHF + make a plan on where to store it properly ... and can be guarded against theft or tampering. And anyone that really has spent time / energy to dig deep for the truth about things [serious research!] & what's really going on with this planet knows that none of this stuff going on in our lives is by coincidence or simply happening by "supply & demand" or what would be considered as natural circumstances. Most all things of this world are being manipulated & controlled by those ones who have ruled & maintained control over *ALL* access to all earth's resources. These resources include oil, of course, but also food - water - air - shelter: all essential for our survival in society & social systems that THEY have deliberately created for their nefarious purposes & hidden agendas. Those "ones" of power & control include that highest tier lurking behind the scenes, those sinister forces that have reigned over the PTB elite cabals busy doing their evil bidding. My understanding is that all these things taking place are part of the final polarity warfare taking place between very ancient forces of this creation itself and are now fully manifesting with the changing cycles of time/space as have been prophesied to occur... prophesied in most all ancient indigenous cultures. Be uplifted in your hearts, friends, to have faith & discern deep within that there is truly hope for us all; for purification & redemption as has been long-promised --- but we must collectively go through this evolving 'purgatory' phase of chaos and turmoil as part of the process. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ May we not only humbly seek such "Human/e" qualities as these listed below, but within our own self ~ aka as the **Heart-Center** ~ make genuine efforts to generate them for the benefit of all sentient beings & Divine Creation: Blessings - Prayers - Charity - Compassion - Truth - Courage - Honor - Dignity - Humility - Repentance - Foregiveness - Selfless Service & Wisdom OM AH HO TOPAZ Thank you for taking the time to post this "head's Up" warning for all of us TOPAZ. We (my family) has been in preparation mode for a couple of years, so we are ready. Scary though... lots to think about. People just get "sort of crazy funny" when they're squeezed. Best wishes to you and yours. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 11303897 United Kingdom 02/23/2012 02:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A US gallon (NOT Imperial) = 3.786 litres. I pay £1.40 for a litre of diesel in the UK. Therefore in US terms, this would be 1.4 x 1.58 x 3.786, which = $8.37. I commute to and from work about 35 miles per day. My car gets about 35 mpg, in Imperial terms (4.55 litres = 1 gal.). My daily commute therefore costs me 4.55 x 1.4 x 1.58 = $10.06 in fuel. $50.30 / week. |

ZIPUX User ID: 4394297 United Kingdom 02/23/2012 02:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How stupid can the 'ruling classes' be? Well they are not, and that's the point here on this thread. We're still using fossil fuel to keep us warm, 10,000 years at the least, and we're still using it, oh my fucking god.....how backward is this in the 21st century, we deserve all we get. Whilst we all watch (not me I hasten to add) crap TV, and strive for more crap to surround ourselves with, and cars/automobiles that use fossil fuel to get us from a to b....idiocy on a scale our ancestors will look back upon in total sheer mind boggling stupidness of this our generation. There is still an opportunity for 'some' to change this, now, and go down in history and be remembered forever in human evolution, to break this stupidity. The gloves have been thrown, who's going to pick them up. |

Freckles (OP) User ID: 688490 Puerto Rico 02/23/2012 02:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks for the LINK! You know, something sort of interesting about it though... When I clicked on the different US Cities listed, it said that prices "are expected to stay about the same" over the next 48 hours. That seemed sort of odd to me? Especially seeing as how the TV News Anchors are reporting on the gas prices rising by the hour. Any thoughts? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 11098011 United Kingdom 02/23/2012 02:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't drive any more than I have to. I walk or ride a bike, bad knee and old age not withstanding. Economy is based on the use of crude oil, not just for fuel, but for a whole range of products. Theres no way that the economy will improve, in any nation, as long as fuel prices continue to rise. If you thinl about it fossil fuels are used to manufacture, and trasnport everything. Takes fuel to get designers to the office, takes fuel to power the machienes used to build thr offfice, takes fuel in atleast on aspect of manufacturing everything, fuel to ship. Really this country has become 100% dependant in fossil fuels, and it will eventually lead to the end. Very sobering thoughts. sobering, and weirdly, at the same time, hilarious. |

Resign all representatives until further notice. Stop using credit, don't take loans, collapse the banks. The madness will stop. ...or not and watch millions perish. the outcome will be the same either way. Good will win, evil will be destroyed, but the first way will save children. |
