No matter what religion beliefs one harbors, offer up thoughts of healing & remediation for this be-ing, Whitney, if you genuinely care; give sincere prayers for not only this woman but also her family/friends that are missing her so much ... remember, she was a real human/e being, a person that is now in a spiriutal state of transition beyond our limited & distorted view of reality.

By study of all ancient cultures, teachings, mythologies, and religions, it can be found to be established firmly that one of our basic human responsibilities is to make sincere efforts towards generating thoughts, words, and deeds that promote qualities such as kindness, caring & compassion, helpfulness & turning the "other" cheek = to create righteousness & forgiveness towards others in all situations and in all ways possible ... and these form the true core tenents of the Christian faith too & are cited in basic precepts of most all global religions.

Keep in mind always that in this world there are many ones to avoid,, that many are false prophets or false teachers, false leaders not worthy of our attention or veneration; and just as many are attention-seekers, money &/or noteriety-seekers - so on ..... please refrain from buying into any foolish & wrongful ploys that can lead to the wrongful path of "better than thou" mob mentality - such as stoning to death those that are condemned as sinners or cases leading to killing one's own children in acts of murder for supposed family honor, as some have done!

Open your own mind along with your heart; to seek out the many, many sources of wisdom available for all those who seek such with an earnest & inquiring heart. Seek out those teachers & spirit guides that naturally exude good vibes = a field that you can actually sense like a feeling within your own self when simply being around them ---> like the individual is radiating wisdom-compassion-love from within their own heartcenter; such ones generally give meaningful guidance with loving & tender oversight. It is best to avoid those teachers that seem lacking in such qualities and instead seem to be cold, harsh and mean-minded, often ranting in disharmony and wanting to create a state of fearful obediance in others & dread of punishment.

On such example is the wisdom dating back to earliest times and found in the vast continent of India & its northern areas such as Tibet, Butan, & Mongolia and China* plus many other regions all throughout that part of the world (*although the current rulership of China steeped in their evil ways work desperately to destroy & eliminate all remnants of such ancient teachings) ...

I would doubt that God as we know him would give this loud mouth rednecked sorry excuse for a pastor the ability to discern who is going to heaven and who is not. Rather than spending his time traumatizing the families of the dead, he would be much better off spending his time spreading the real word of God as preached by Jesus when he was on this earth. And Jesus did NOT condemn ANYONE to hell (although as the son of God - God in the form of man on this earth, he probably had the power and ability to do so, yet he did not use that power for punishment or harm.) Rather our Lord preached a doctrine of forgiveness and love for all men. He taught that all of our sins could be forgiven in an instant simply by believing in him and accepting his atonement on the cross for the sins of this world and it's people.

I don't know anything about Whitney Houston's life, and even less about her death. I believe that it is up to God to judge her and decide her eternal destination based on her acceptance or rejection of Jesus while she was alive on this earth.

Here's the problem why so many get offended today..the gospel that is preached today is a very very watered down version. in other words its not taught the way it use to be taught..most of it is spoken in a way not to offend people, not to lose people from their congregation or lose money from their members.
