I live in western WA state and some friends of mine who are in the 30's and 40's are finding unusual lumps on their necks. Radon in my downstairs now get's to .60+ mcSv/h THIS IS NOT NATURAL. I am one of those 30 somethings from WA. I am now dealing with hypothyroid issues that have appeared in the last 6 months out of the blue. I was practically laughed out of the doctors office when I asked about radiation and the time I spend outdoors. Would low dose radiation exposure cause a hypothyroid condition or hyperthyroid condition? |

Would low dose radiation exposure cause a hypothyroid condition or hyperthyroid condition? you were probably exposed to high doses of iodine-131 in your drinking water, rain and snow. it effects the thyroid. the only way to have PREVENTED that was to have taken iodine supplements when FUKU FIRST BLEW UP, but our gov't first shut down the radiation monitors(radnet, remember?), and then pulled all the supplements off the shelves. I suggest you do a serious radiation detox asap, there are several on the internet. |

I was practically laughed out of the doctors office when I asked about radiation and the time I spend outdoors. Would low dose radiation exposure cause a hypothyroid condition or hyperthyroid condition? Low dose, generally hypo. Because you will not have as much stable iodine and your thyroid will be lacking. But, it's confusing - if you already were close to hyper, sometimes it can manifest as hyper. So some people might get goiters. Thyroids are complicated. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 10920310 Canada 02/24/2012 08:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sorry, I meant some people might get hyper symptoms (bulgy eyes, racing heart, anxiety, weight loss). These people already had thyroid issues. Not that common. But most people will get hypo symptoms, (low energy, depression, weight gain, and possibly goiter). |

The Japanese will not get cancer because they know how to smile well. As long as statistical evidence can be ignored any illness will be credited to other things. On the other hand if there are NO health problems right now, then that is also a unique and special event, which would show that massive doses of radiation can cure people of ALL health problems. Human psychology can make this all seem logical. If there is not some undeniable change in public health in the next year, even to the casual observer, then just about everything we ever thought we knew about the effects of radiation exposure would need to be reexamined. The point of the matter is, media says the Japanses are fine and everyone just believes it, coz hey, if they TV said so, it must be true. |

The USGS led the study in the weeks immediately following the March 2011 explosions. USGS scientists found RADIOACTIVE NUCLEAR FALLOUT in precitiation samples containing Cesium-137,,Cesium-134, and Iodine-131 (and they told us not to take kelp or Iodine supplements, i hope you did anyway). It was known raditation was in rain, but the official line was that it was in minute amounts that made it irrelevant. I took 1 iodine pill. Eagle # 1 User ID: 11396367 United States 02/24/2012 09:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The WHOLE 'report' was useless, AS they NEVER ONCE mentioned how small doses produce radiation POISONING, as it IS CUMULATIVE over the MONTHS of people breathing, drinking and EATING the Cesium particles, that ARE producing GAMMA RADIATION, from INSIDE your body NOW ! Just another bullshit release to lull the sheeple into their CONTINUOUS slumber ! In my own family in CT, there ARE several of the 12 signs of radiation poisoning that DON'T GO AWAY ! AND, it KEEPS COMING, fools ! It's like reporting that NO ONE was killed by the shootings last night that everyone heard. BUT, those wounded, possibly dying of infection is NEVER MENTIONED. Just " No Deaths ". Forgot to check the snowfall yesterday, but will tomorrow ! Eagle |
