I hope The Judean would forgive me for taking his name in vain, but this the latest from out there in space just takes the biscuit. I have been following those threads for a while on here and would be an avid reader. I had dared to hope that in those, the Autumnal years of my life at least some of this could be even the slightest hope of something to believe in. Now though I see those geniuses from the back of beyond are offering me a job.
No offence to you there Op, but this is just effing ridiculos. I had hoped to see some bankers arrested at the least, and would have no wish to see harm come to most people. But living in a country which has always been corrupt I have become sort of immune to all the corruption about me. This would be my fourth recession so I have quite gotten used to the corruption and the emigration.
Now it would appear I may yet have to go out and look for a new job shoring up the Seafront of this fair isle. I think if you don't mind I will just stay here and draw my pension such as it is. Get used to living in the black economy as would be more my style. Nothing new to see people like the bankers being arrested here as that would be par for the course.
Just window dressing really as those cretins would just end up in a cushy gaol, or out on parole with the plebs money in their pockets. The bankers own the government, the governnment own the media. Most of the plebs believe the media, and still believe in the fairy tale of politics.
A part of me would still like to believe I think there Op, but my better judgement would have me think I should just hunker down and do as I did in previous recessions..........
Try to survive and do what I could for my own and those I care about.
Bottom line.........Not going to happen in this lifetime...............On a Pilgrimage, and just a bit more cynical.
