I loved the movie, except for the constant "oh, my...." part.
The whole corporation with electrolytes and everyone stock they held in it ended it perfectly!

Love that film. Mike Judge is genius as what he does and severely underrated IMO. Office Space is another classic of his.

The movie Extract was not a very popular one..but if you are a mike judge fan, I think you would like it.

I watched it about 2am on sky a while ago and thought the film was so so stupid yet so good on how the future could turn out.

Yes, fantastic movie! I don't usually watch movies more than once but this one I've seen several times. Love the beginning where it shows the family tree of the oakies vs. the educated folk.

Sidenote: Last guy I dated, when I first went to his house they had four Lazy Boy chairs lined up facing the tv in his living room. Nearly no other furniture. My first thought was, "oh sh!#@!" this is Idiocracy in real life. Made it hard to take him seriously as the movie would always pop into my head when visiting his house. That family spent 90% of it's time with their feet propped up in those chairs. All they needed was the built in toilets and it woulda made it 95%. They wouldn't go for the Gatorade though, with its electrolytes...they were all about the powdered orange Tang. Yuck!

One mistake people make is they think the movie is set in the FUTURE...
