Its on everyday here we even got the kids watching it LOL. I want to fire my gun like that. Great story thanks for sharing. Quoting: countrymomkel 4095088 You are welcome! Good morals for the kids. I think if I remember he told us on stage that the loop was custom on that rifle and trips the trigger on each cock. I need to look up the gun, don't think it's a Winchester? I would trade everything I have to see families like that again in this country. So many of us obviously feel this way. My dad and I would wait to watch Mchale's Navy and Jackie Gleeson with Crazy Guckenheim and Green Acres. Mister Kimble was our favorite. It was silly but clean. No sexual inuendos or fowl language. Red Skelton was the funniest. I don't know if we'll ever get it back in our lifetime. The media is too far gone. Sorositized. It's easy to find something worth dying for. Seriously, that is amazing stuff. I remember reading that many actors of old, like Jimmy Stewart, served our country back then. And it was the real deal in harms way. Thanks for letting us know about these particular actors. I didn't know that. Can you imagine any actor in America today doing anything those men did? No. Also, if anyone can confirm this, I read years ago that "Mr. Rodgers" yes Fred Rodgers was a sniper in Vietnam with over 100 confirmed kills. If that is true, I am simply amazed. But then it would fit in with the men of that generation (serving their country). |
