Best MPG cars in the world.
I came across this article from over in England from last year that tells of a car going into production that gets 100 mpg and travels up to 200 mpg. Fill the car up and you can travel 2000 miles.
The negative of it is that it costs 150k. Looks sharp as hell though.

Re: Best MPG cars in the world.
Their are cars like this throughout the world that gets great gas mileage but yet our Gov will absolutely refuse to let them into the states.
The reason why? They don't want you to get good gas mileage because the less gas you buy the less taxes you are paying. That is why most trucks get around 15 mpg on their best days and cars get in the 20's.

Re: Best MPG cars in the world.
Just think these are performance based cars designed to be fast and powerful which means that they tend to use quite a bit more fuel than a car designed to go 100 mph.

Re: Best MPG cars in the world.
I dunno. Seems to me that $150,000 would buy a lot of damn gas for my late model F-150 that gets about 18 per gallon. Hell, I could just buy the newest biggest, gas hog on the lot for around $45,000 and STILL have enough money left over to buy around 25,000 gallons of gas for it at $4/gallon...or about 450,000 miles worth.

I want this: [link to www.superfuturecars.com]

Base price 105,000 USD

100% electric

0-60mph in 3.9 sec

245 miles per charge

3.5hr charge time from dead to full.

Not bad for an electric car... better that most out there. Plus it looks awesome.
