What is your favorite "doom" book?
Fiction or non-fiction. I just finished reading One Second After and found it very compelling. I am looking for other recommendations.

In the non-fiction category, I enjoyed The Long Emergency by James Howard Kunstler.

I dunno if this is what you're looking for, but Phillip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"
Post-apocalyptic science fiction. An amazing book.

Really liked One Second After also. But both Earth Abides and Absalom, Absalom rank high on my list. Older books but well worth searching out.
