Supercell Thunderstorms Expected To Spawn Strong Tornadoes This Year -Batten the hatches!
I already expected this..and living in the "tornado alley" Missouri, Im prepared to get the hell outta dodge!

I do some storm chasing myself, and I do expect a very active season..

"Following a near record number of tornadoes in 2011, an active severe weather season with above normal tornadoes is expected in 2012, AccuWeather.com reports.

There were 1,709 tornadoes in 2011, falling short of the record 1,817 tornadoes set in 2004. In comparison, the average number of tornadoes over the past decade is around 1,300.

Last year ranks as the fourth most deadly tornado year ever recorded in the United States."

Of course, they are saying it was a La Niña, that caused all the severe stuff last year..I say BULL HOCKEY..earth changes, plain and simple..sun, pole shift..you name it..

Above-normal tornadoes are anticipated again this year.

We've already seen it this year and it isnt even SPRING yet..

Batten down the hatches, boys and girls..we're in for a ride.verycold

The mid-Mississippi and upper Ohio valleys are among the zones that may get hit more frequently by severe weather this year. Missouri,( yay Missouri) Illinois, Indiana and Michigan are included in this zone.

"If I were in the South or Ohio Valley, I'd be extra prepared this year," Mike Smith, senior vice president of AccuWeather Enterprise Solutions cautioned.

I believe Missouri is now in the weather pattern that used to be primarily confined to Oklahoma, Texas panhandle and Kansas. We will see baseball and tennis ball sized hail as the norm. Here is the comparison to determine the strenght of the updraft based on hail stone size.

Pea (1/4")... 15 MPH
Quarter (1")... 35 MPH
Golfball (1.75")... 50 MPH
Baseball (2.5")... 80 MPH
Grapefruit (4")... 105 MPH
Softball (11-12")... 120+ MPH

I'm a storm chaser and NWS storm spotter also. Missouri is going to be under the gun again this year with Tornadoes.

that's like 5 tornadoes a day. if you complained to god he'd tell you "working as intended" Earth is almost in final stage. earth is currently in beta 5.126, just looking for a way to kill doommakers on its own still then we're good.
