Don't be a Pharisee Quoting: tips 1606125
Act 15:1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
Act 15:2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
Act 15:3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.
Act 15:4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.
Act 15:5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
Act 15:6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
Act 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
Act 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
Act 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
Act 15:10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Act 15:11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
Yes! Amen! Thank you for pointing this out I think this about much should put an end to any argument on this thread. OP wants Christians to follow the laws of Moses while the Word of God tells us,
As the Scriptures say, "No one is righteous--not even one.
So how are we made righteous is it through strict adherence to the Laws of Moses?
"We are made right with God (righteous) by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are."
Both of you are quoting from the teachings of Saul which I have covered twice in the thread. Everyone is given free-will and you can believe what you choose to.
However, tell me where it says in the Bible that the 10 commandments and statutes, and law are no longer valid. According to YHWH, Yeshua and the prohpets of the Old Testament, they are.
If I remember correctly Yeshua's came in the flesh as the word which makes whatever he says superior to any teaching of Saul. It's written in your own bible. I would suggest reading it, as you can continue to live in your life of deceit and pick and choose what you want to follow.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot (letter) or one tittle (punctuation mark) shall in no wise pass from the law (Torah), till all be fulfilled.

Yeshua certainly isn't speaking of man's law. He is speaking of Mosaic law, or the first 5 books of the bible written by Moses (Torah). Until heaven and Earth pass away, the bible is valid in its entirety.
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, YHWH: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Yeshua said unto him, Thou shalt love the YHWH with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law (Torah) and the prophets.Show me where it says that all of these verses no longer apply to you, as YHWH's word is superior to mans word, and says does not pass away until Heaven and Earth have.
Deuteronomy 7:11 Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.
36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to YHWH throughout your generations
; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever
. Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you. And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of YHWH went out from the land of Egypt. It is a night to be much observed unto YHWH for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of YHWH to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.
Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations
; that ye may know that I am YHWH that doth sanctify you.If you say Saturday or Sunday I won't even bother to reply to the ignorance. Church set sabbaths for the convenience of man according to the solar calendar are wrong. The calendar when Yeshua walked the Earth was the Lunar calendar and if it was incorrect he would have said something about it in the bible.
1:14 And YHWH said, Let there be lights in the firmament (expanse) of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.
The Hebrew word that is translated "seasons" in Genesis 1:14 is mo'ed (pronounced moh-gehd'), which means "appointed times." Strong's 4150. This Hebrew word, is later used in Numbers 9:1-3 in reference to observing the Passover. The Hebrew word mo'ed is also used in Leviticus 23 in reference to all of God's appointed times, or "feasts," including the weekly Sabbath. These and many other Scriptural passages make it clear that the word mo'ed--which has been translated into various English expressions, such as "set time," "appointed season," or simply "season"--refers specifically to YHWH's appointed feasts.
Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob. This He ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt, where I heard a language that I understood not.
Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto YHWH. And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the YHWH Elohiym. For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people. Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations
, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of YHWH, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring.
And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even. And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.
Leviticus 15:25-26 And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean. Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.
IF this isn't enough, there are plenty of other applicable ones.
