Stuart Wilde warns Seattle - Nov. 6th Tsunami?
Posted for your consideration, FWIW.

Last Pint in Seattle
Stuart Wilde
November 1st, 2004

I’ve seen a vision, there suggests that a tidal wave is about to hit America on November 6th. I think it’s Seattle. There is a pub there that I really like, so I am going for one last pint. Sad. Seattle is a bit damp but the pub is nice and warm.

It’s a risky venture with the tidal wave/earthquake only days away, especially if it comes a bit early. But in a world where it is hard to believe in anything you have to believe in yourself and your perceptions. But I’m going to have to be out of there and over the mountains by the 5th before the disaster, so I mustn’t get carried away lurking about and having a good time. If you live on the coast or downtown you may find a reason to visit your rellies in Kansas next weekend, just in case.

I think Microsoft is okay as they are inland but Boeing looks vulnerable. They have just started making fighter-bombers for the government, rotten karma for Seattle I reckon. Never mind.

I get some of his e-mails, but not that one. I really think in some ways heīs gone off the deep end. He seems to go back and forth between predicting disasters and some miracle that will save everyone. Well, here for once he gives a specific date for a prediction, so weīll see.

Hi, Lleu. I was hesitant about posting this, with everyone here being up to their necks in so many failed predictions, but heīs well-known and does give a specific time frame, which is unusual for him. Plus, we donīt have to wait very long to find out.

I figured it was better to post it and have it be wrong (and I hope it IS wrong) than to not post it and have something happen.

The best thing we can do is listen to our own inner guide, eh?

He comes across as a real wackjob in some of the stuff Iīve read, including this. I hate people like this where you have to continually wonder if theyīre serious or pulling your leg. Probably hitting the sauce too often.

12:34, you could be right about that; he does mention a pub. I recently read his latest book, Godīs Gladiatorīs, in which he mentions that heīd given up drinking. Maybe he started again, which is probably a bad idea for someone who is psychically sensitive.

<< GLP is the failed prediction archive. >> LOL "That is SO true!" This is my first gloom-and-doom thread, here or anywhere else, so now I can be added to the annals of GLP history. {{Or maybe should I should say the "anals" of GLP history.}} FWIW Dave, I like your hat; I loved that whole glam rock, big-hair band, power chord era! Is that you or David Lee Roth?

H e r B, that might be exactly whatīs happening. Geez, what if weīre just some kidīs science project?

<< These visions never pan out. Especially when they are posted on GLP. >> Another truth! Maybe there is something to the thinking that if enough people know about something, they can change it; the 100th monkey thing. Maybe itīs all coincidence. I dunno.

Stuart Wilde does have some nutty-sounding theories and stories, thatīs for sure, but Iīve spent most of my life in the narrow little box that my parents, my schools, and various churches stuffed me into. Now that Iīve found my way out, I listen to and think about everything I can, dismiss nothing and understand that some of the craziest-sounding stuff might just turn out to be true.

I do believe that what he says is HIS truth and heīs sincere about it. That IS a good point about if he drinks at all, though. He could be seeing some pretty bizarre stuff!

EDIT for Superego: In a nutshell? (No pun intended.) Iīll put something together and get back to you.

It would have to be quite a tsunami. The Olympic mountain range is in front of Seattle on the Olympic peninsula and the the water would have to come in through the strait of Juan De Fuca and the then travel through Puget Sound back down to Seattle. Portland is on the coast.

I dunno-with the 6,000 foot tall Olymic Mountains Blocking Seattle-they should be safe from any waves-and Puget sound may rise-but there will be no waves

Portland is on the coast? WRONG! How about 80 to 100 miles as the crow flies. Portland is on the Columbia and Willamette rivers, not on the coast.

Re: Stuart Wilde warns Seattle - Nov. 6th Tsunami?
To answer "who is Stuart Wilde," this is from his website at www.stuartwilde.com. "Stuart is an urban mystic and a visionary. He has a very quirky style of writing. It has won him a loyal readership over the years. Stuie was born in England but he escaped twenty-five years ago. Once he got away, he wrote sixteen books on consciousness and awareness."

Iīve read a couple of his books and theyīre easy to read, humorous and very spiritually uplifting. His stuff is comfortable, to me.

As for "why should we care what he says?" thatīs a tougher one. Purely a judgement call for each of us. I feel that *something* is up but donīt know what. Theories abound. I guess Iīm more inclined to pay attention to him because he doesnīt stir people up into a frenzy of fear, he just states things the way he sees them without getting all gloomy about it.

Thatīs some really interesting geographical information thatīs been posted here, too! I didnīt analyze any maps before posting the first time, but now Iīm more intrigued than before. He said that he "thinks" itīs Seattle. Iīve heard (from a psychic friend) that this is one of the difficulties of being psychic - you get clues and snippets of pictures and sometimes-fuzzy visions, but canīt always pinpoint them.

Iīm off to look for a map, now.

I KNOW Stu--heīs a trickster, like the legendary Coyote, but is also a genuine BAD-ASS. donīt make a fucking MISTAKE,baby.
He hands out personal empowerment like Halloween candy-and you WILL learn to get DOWN.
If he says itīs COMING--Iīd get INLAND---or get on the phone to Laird Hamilton--NOW.
Both viewpoints ARE VALID in Stuīs world...

velocedog--nli, I got a chill when I read your post. Had to Google Laird Hamilton.....that would be hilarious, if I could get my stomach turned right-side-out, again. ("Laird Hamilton is known as the guiding genius of crossover board sports, and he is truly amazing in the water." - from www.lairdhamilton.com/) Thanks for your input; suddenly, this feels a lot more real and quite a bit scarier.

I found a map. That WOULD have to be quite a tsunami! Dang! We need a :surfīs up: emoticon!

Re: Stuart Wilde warns Seattle - Nov. 6th Tsunami?
Maybe the tidal wave is FROM the Puget Sound caused by some gigantor earthquake???

Stuart Wilde has written too much heavy stuff that only those who have been there would recognize but is also great material to fantasize with. There are lots who have been there...

His heart is good, I donīt know what I would do about his vision perhaps the sage words of my cousin who has been a lifer at Boeing would be helpful..."ah kill em all and let God sort em out..." in regards to, of course, the anonymous slaughter of 100,000+ Iraqi civilians killed-not a few by Boeing products, hence my cousinīs political conflict of interest. Hey, he PROFITS off of manufactured wars based only on lies for the profits to few with the losses to many!

Like most other predictions Iīm sure this one will be round filed come November 7th. However, there has been a big one just off the coast of Seattle, with continued activity along the San Juan subduction zone. If there was something that would cause a tsunami big enough to wipe out Seattle, this could cause it.

Indeed Stewie has a VERY good heart and is legit IMHO. As another poster mentioned IF Stewie has "seen" this is a vision itīs in the realm of "probability" rather than "possibility". Heīs seen things and been places on the inner that few of us dare to imagine. Heīs not my personal Guru, but I love Stewie. He takes no bullshit and when necessary can dish it out right up there with the best of īem.
Thanks for the post OP. Whether it comes to pass or not is NOT the question. It needs to be shared regardless IMHO.
cheers
