Rabbi Sacks said the Pope's influence was why he came to visit him, "because I think if Jewish and Christian voices are heard, along parallel lines, then they should not underestimate the influence they have."

Schools shouldn't be talking about marriage and families anyway. Reading, math, history (include some gay movement people if you want, and some others who are gay like Obama if you want), etc. Families are to handle the "family education"; the kindergarten teacher should not broach the subject.

They don't teach about regular marriage and all history books are just opinions as well. want to protest? everyone just home-school your children. Homosexuality has existed since the beginning of mankind, and in over 1000 species of animals. Nothing is being redefined, homosexuality is just being acknowledged as a normal, biological aspect of human sexuality, as it should be. Denying that homosexuality exists is the same as denying that the world is round. Marriage itself will not be affected because extending gay marriage to same-sex couples does nothing to change heterosexual marriage. I for one think the bill is perfect because it preaches tolerance, respect, and equality of our fellow human beings. If you are against it, you are promoting discrimination, lack of respect, and intolerance to our children. Is that what you anti-gay's want?
