whoever becomes pope next after Benedict will be the false prophet. This will probably ocurr shortly after Benedict flees Rome because of the war that is about to break out. The question is, will the false prophet be Peter the Roman? Or will Petrus Romanus come AFTER the false prophet. Who knows.

To me , the cloud means confusion after which 2 suns appear, or 2 popes. So there very well could be 2 popes one real and the other anti pope, who will fulfill the false prophet prophecy.

Yes sir! The Catholic Church has a RICH history of rape, murder and plunder (crusades). Not to mention their bank and money laundering schemes. I won't even mention the sexual abuses (young and old, ancient and recent) and the countless aborted babies found underneath their churches (just research the Italian papers, and they're there). This is why I rebelled (in my own private way) after years of being raised within the Catholic Church.
