This is interesting. The same exact thing (apparantly) happened in New Jersey, in December, 2011. Many people felt the quake, just like here in North Carolina.

Another similarity, a very odd one at that, is that is happened at the exact same time "10:00 am".

"Apparently the power was off in my house for a VERY brief period right around 10:00 a.m. The oven clock was blinking as if from a power failure and the time was probably only seconds behind All of the other electronics had reset themselves. Strange."

"This was not a sonic boom or thunder........the ground was rolling.........."

"I agree. The thunder explanation seems like complete bunk. Here in East Brunswick, I didn't sense any movement, but all of the sudden the front door to the house, along with the storm door started to shake and rattle like somebody was grabbing the door knob and rattling the door. My family and I were in the living room and it spooked us all, especially when I looked out the peephole and saw nothing. I actually went outside of my house and checked the front porch to see if somebody had been there or we received a delivery or something. Very strange. Then I saw this report and realized it wasn't just an isolated incident around my area. I'd like to know what really happened, not some stupid excuses like thunder. I guess there's a good chance we'll never know if they're using excuses like thunder or maybe a sonic boom that effected the whole state. Can't say I have any experience with a sonic boom, but would it really effect the entire state if a plane had one off of the coast somewhere?"
