is this THE TOMB OF JESUS?
'Divine Jehovah, raise up':
Does discovery of coffin lid prove the resting place of Jesus is under Jerusalem tower block?
Inscription on 1st Century tomb lid translates from ancient Greek as 'Divine Jehovah, raise up, raise up'

Adds weight to sensational theory that Jesus was buried with Mary Magdelene and had family with her.

Archaeologists exploring a 1st century Christian burial chamber have discovered an ancient inscription on a coffin lid which they believe could prove the site is the final resting place of Jesus.

Using a remote-controlled camera connected to a robotic arm to probe below a tower block in Jerusalem, the archaeologists were staggered to discover a set of 1st century 'bone boxes'.

The lid on one of these limestone boxes, also known as ossuaries, carries an inscription in Greek which could be translated as 'Divine Jehovah, raise up, raise up'.

Oh, Moses. Smell the roses.
So how does the shroud of Turin play into this theory, if at all?

The only thing I've wondered about is where is all the carpentry Jesus made?

There have to be pieces (tables, chairs, etc) that still exist- maybe buried under rubble?

That's what I'd like to see- something made by him with his marking stamped on it ( initials or whatever they did back then).

He was supposed to be an excellent carpenter.

Wouldn't that be wild to have someone show up with an old chair on Antique Road Show and hear that the item is 2,000 years old and made by Jesus Christ?!

Re: is this THE TOMB OF JESUS?
The sign of Jonah, means that if he were Messiah, Jesus would have to make the same trip Jonah did, where Jonah tried to return the Israelite Tribe of Gad, to Israel. Jonah made his trip to ancient Tarsish, which today is known as Cadiz.
During his trip is when Jesus ran into a demonic in an underground tomb and cast the evil into a herd of pigs which threw themselves into the ocean. The original church didn't think of Jesus as a God, but as a teacher. There is still a church in Cadiz called the Poor Church which follows these teachings. Resurrection didn't enter church teachings until Pauline Christianity came to be. This is where Paul combined Mythras worship with Early Christian teachings.

Jesus was never placed in a coffin. When He arose at the beginning of the third day, He conquered death. He was no longer in the tomb....

the body of Jesus is entombed in Srinagar Kashmir. The tomb in Jerusalem has already been quietly opened and records recovered that you can learn about here at these two links. [link to tweeofmeer.webs.com]

Jesus went to India area. Mary M went to France, they are not buried together. This is fact and how could be in a tomb in Jerusalem if he did not die there? There was a tomb but he did not die, he left it on healing for 3 days. The bible is correct in that and Christians assume a ressurection and his body going not heaven. These bodies do not ever go to heaven. Not on this earth as it is now.

Too bad for all who believe the bible is a bunch of lies. If you were born again as Jesus instructed (easy to get if you're really interested) you would fully understand that He genuinely did rise from His tomb and ascend into heaven in the presence of his witnesses. One star for you.

I remember watching a documentary about this when Jacobovici first found this tomb! It was really fascinating. The entrance of the tomb has an upside down cheveron with an eye in the center. Like a pyramid with an all seeing eye in the center. Clearly the apartment complex was built on top for a reason. I can't believe they got a permit to explore this.

Great find, OP. Thanks so much for the info!

this is true, he was not in a coffin, and also, though he did NOT DIE in the grave. That is why he arose from it. He did not conquer death, and these bodies do not go to heaven either, He did not ascend to heaven some weeks later, he ascended into a craft and was taken to syria where he met Saul a couple years later.

He was not pierced in his chest, that was in fact prevented on purpose so he could survive. There was another also hung, pierced in the chest who did die, and that one is confused in the stories with Jesus. there were actually FOUR great ones there, one of whom when to Japan, giving rise to the belief jesus went to Japan. the forth one just went out of the region and is not recorded there.

He did not marry Mary M there. He married a local woman. Mary M was put out to sea with some others and showed up in france carrying their girl child SaRa in her arms, born at sea. They never got back together. Mary M died in France. Jesus remarried in Kashmir and had 5 children there. He did die around 115 years of age.

His oldest Son Joseph, returned records made by Judas who also traveled to Kashmir, died before Jesus, and was never the betrayor. In olden days they framed people then too. But since the betrayor did hang himself, that did free Judas to go to India too and keep writing the story. Judas wrote the only actual story in fact by his own hand. The rest are written by students of the apostles in general and Luke was never an apostle and never knew Jesus personally. Mark is written in part by Mark, who was not an apostle either, but an adoring lad at the time.
