It opposes eveything that "jesus" taught and said?
First off, jesus never existed. Yahushuah did!

Secondly, everything beyond the gospels opposes everything Yahushauh taught. Christianity opposed everything Yahushuah taught, with their false doctrines of men.

Worldly wickedness was atoned for on the cross. Thats the whole idea of the cross. Yahushuah didn't harp on worldly wickedness because he was sent to atone for that.

Yahushuah harped on spiritual wickedness. He warned about:

FALSE ANOINTEDS
WOLVES IN SHEEPS CLOTHES
DEVILS APPEARING HOLY
RELIGIOUS SCRIBES AND PHARISEES USING LAW AND SCRIPTURE

HE DIDN'T HARP ON WORLDLY WICKEDNESS. THAT WAS PAID FOR ON THE CROSS.

SINS OF THE WORLD WAS TAKEN AWAY ON THE CROSS.

SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS WAS "NOT" PAID FOR ON THE CROSS.

WORLDLY WICKEDNESS IS PAID FOR.
SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IS NOT PAID FOR.

RELIGIOUS PEOPLE AND CHRISTIANS PRACTICE "SPIRITUAL" WICKEDNESS.

NON-RELIGIOUS PEOPLE PRACTICE WORLDLY WICKEDNESS. "THEIR" WICKEDNESS IS PAID FOR.

FOR SOME REASON, RELIGIOUS PEOPLE JUST CAN'T WRAP THEIR BRAIN AROUND THE FACT THAT WORLDLY WICKEDNESS WAS NAILED TO THE CROSS, AND RELIGIOUS WICKEDNESS IS SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS, WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT YAH HATES AND WON'T TOLERATE.

Barnabas was always cool on "Dark Shadows". He could time-travel so maybe he went waaaay back. Maybe Johnny Depp will do that when he plays him in the upcoming movie.

Barnabas is the only disciple who knew the truth about Jesus and Judas. The rest were stupid dupes.

Obviously you have not given much thought about our so called "his-story" have you? Why did TPTB destroy the library of Alexandria? Why did the ancient people find it necessary to hide manuscripts in caves? Could it be because TPTB were trying to destroy anything and everything that contradicted their chosen dogma? Well i am not so sure about that,Jesus still has the same meaning...
so i would say that it is an approved name from Heaven.
Words are just data for us to perceive meanings.
Other than that,i am pretty sure salvation is free but you have to really want it...and show that you want it.

Actually i am pretty sure that Yahoshua the nazarene was a real historical person.
And that He lived a life without sin,and that He died and rose again,and that He is the King of Kings,and will rule forever.
There is as much evidence for His life as for most of people living today....
