Evil = Yin Good = Yang
They cannot exist without the other. But in everything on earth there is no pure evil and there is no pure good. Such as a good person is capable and will do "bad" things occasionally. And the evil person will do good at times.
They interact with one another. Without one, you do not have the other. They are the same phenomenon interdependent upon both of them together.
Pure evil is the absence of good. Just as cold is the absence of heat. Beauty would not exist without ugliness.
