You are all wrong. Evil is a word. Created from 4 letters, which were created by humans. It is nothing more than a word used to convey a feeling of what YOU believe is wrong. And of course, this only applies to english speaking people. Other languages have a different word.

Evil as a concept cannot exist, unless you first create the concept that there is good and bad. And therefore, it is nothing, and everything, depending on your perception.

Evil = what a human being feels emotionally when being tested and they believe it is too harsh to have to face.

Evil = tough love.

This story is controversial in that we don't know for certain if Einstein actually was this student. But the point is powerful none the less.

Evil is based on people committing transgression against themselves, their spouses or loved ones, their friends, their work place, against people they do not know like throwing a rock at a car traveling down the road and running away to not get caught. These transgressions are things the person would not want done to them like stealing money from their mothers purse at the age of 10. Looking through a peep hole to see a girl or boy naked. Stealing money out of the cash register at work, a little bit at a time. Sleeping with the neighbors wife/husband while wife/husband at work/with friends etc. Looking at porn during the day at work. If you have to hide it, it is a transgression against your life and others life.
Now what one does naturally as we are all mostly cowards is that we hide it and do not reveal the actions as doing so would make the trangressee very upset so we hold onto these little lies, acts of infidelity (porn included if married or in relationship). We end up being unhappy with self as we are doing things that go against a moral code and if continuing to commit these transgressions against others and ultimately self, we hold on tighter to these actions and do not reveal them and we eventually cave ourselves in and commit more and more heinous acts and this action of holding onto these transgressions is the sole cause of evil.
Unhappiness breeds violence and cowardice and acts of violence and cowardly acts. Holding up a convenient store is a cowardly act as you were not courageous enough to earn the money and this is evil.
Try coming clean with your spouse sometime, both agreeing to be willing to sit and accept what your mate has done and vice versa and CLEAN UP YOUR CLOSETS and you will fall in love again. It may involve some tense moments, even divorce or fist fights or frying pans hitting you in the head. Some
couples stopped loving each other years ago and this is a very workable remedy.
