can any of you who remember his death remember a date? year? an event that happened near or around his death that goes hand in hand with your memories? any newspaper clippings.

for example, was there a major sports event like a world cup or olympics or whatever? do you have an old vcr tape that may have the news item on it? newspaper clippings? anyone do an assignment on him/his death at school? is that assignment still around?

my example is, i was in the middle of watching the movie 'sexy beast' with ben kingsley when i got an sms from a friend saying its WW3 and its over when the trade centers went down....anyone have a specific link.

reading the comments on the mandela effect website, it appears people have solid references to the death like the movie 'sexy beast' and 9/11 for me. there must have been a student who did an assignment on what his death meant or something like that?

i also remember the freddie prinze/gellar kid and the death of ernest borgnine and brian dennehy as they were shown on the screen at oscars. being young at the time i used to watch that crap (oscars/grammys, whatever).

if there were solid enough links to an event in people's minds, then a year should be able to be traced. for example, music. what was the number one song at the time? what smells can you remember? anyone remember?

i know certain songs in my graduation year of high school and again first year uni. for instance i know the cardigan's 'love fool' was a huge song late 1996/97 - my first year of uni. come on people, lets come up with a year!!!

well in 1989 when tiananmen square happened i was pregnant with my first child.. a pretty important event in my life so i remember the year fairly well..

I'm leaning towards multiple dimensions overlapping,
Theres a rumor that some assholes went way back and changed the past, these are ripples of that.

Normally I'd agree in a heartbeat as GLPers are too fucking irrational. But I swear i strongly recall him dying too, not 20 years ago per say or maybe it was can't say for sure, as i was too young. But about 10 years ago i vividly remember reading or seeing a story about how he died in his jail cell and still seen as this great hero.

If i am crazy than this is some real coincidental shit.

i cant actually, and its frustrating me.. i asked my husband and he said he thought the guy was either shot or run over.. he can pin point the memory either.. i just remember watching it and remember being horrified at what i was watching and how anyone could just kill someone in cold blood like that when they were unarmed.. but i dont have the actual memory of it..

for those who have seen DARK CITY, the death of mandela appears to be like 'Shell Beach'. people in the movie know it exists and even have memories of playing on it, but they cannot get there because they dont know the way...

Which listed her as dead; having died of lung cancer. I was in disbelief so i kept looking thinking it was probably just a joke but everywhere i looked listed her as dead. So naturally when i saw her in the terminator salvation I was even more dumbfounded, so i looked her up again and everything i found showed her as alive and well.

So does anyone ever recall her dying or was this just some kind of a joke that had played out at the time?.
