33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.

34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.

36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.

37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.

Avoid sin

Son, have you sinned? Don't do it again, and pray for forgiveness for what you have already done. Avoid sin as if it were a snake. If you get too near it will sink its teeth into you like a lion and will destroy you. Every lawless act leaves an incurable wound like one left by a double edged sword.

If a person is insolent and agrrogent, he may loose everything he has.

If you refuse to accept correction you are commiting a sin and if you fear the Lord, you will make a sincere change in your ways.

Sirach 21:1- 4 and 6

Prayers of repentance
Psm 51, Neh. 1: 4-9, Dan. 9: 4-20

Isa. 64: 5 You welcome those who find joy in doing what is right.

Ex. 32: 33 It is those who have sinned against me whose name I will remove from my book.

King Saul is an example of sin with out repentance.
King David is an example of a man after God's own heart.

Be like David and not like Saul; only leave out adultery and murder if you can.



We fall down, We fall short. We repent.
We go on...
We forgive ourself, we forgive others...

WE focus on Him and hide his word in our heart.

Thy word have I hid in my heart, so that I will not sin against thee.

Obey God's commands

Rev. 14: 12 Obey and be faithful to Jesus.
Rev. 12:17 Obey and be faithful to the truth revealed by Jesus.

Psm. 86:11 Teach me Lord, what you want me to do, and I will obey faithfully.

Psm. 111: 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, a good understadning have all they that do his commandments, his praise endureth forever.

Eccl. 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the matter, fear God and keep his commandments for this is the whole duty of man.

Heb. 5: 9 Obey God.

Acts 3: 33 and Deut. 18: 5
You are to obey him in all things.

John 14:15 If you love me, you will obey my commmandments.
