Sounds like something most people say about music that is beyond their generation. When you were young, the music you love so dearly was slammed by your elders at the time too.

i saw BassNectar (not sure if you would consider him dub or not) on acid once and had a good time but no desire to go back for another show or to purchase/download any of it.

Why make thread about it? Ugh, smells like bait to come in and complain about shit you obviously don't understand. And if you don't get it or don't like it, what do you expect someone else to say to you that will change anything? There is sooooo much music out there, the idea that you wanna take the time to bitch about one style is unfathomable in my mind. and those of you who say it doesn't take talent, are the ones that don't have any themselves let alone know how to engineer the individual sounds on a program.. There is not a big difference between talent and being able to "create" a good rhythm and then engineer the song, manipulate sounds, and make it all flow together till the end.

But since it takes No talent, Go open logic and make an easy dubstep beat then, lol.

You can put real instruments into a song and lay a dubstep bass line over it if you're creative. Dubstep as a whole does not mean the abscense of "musical instruments", and yes some dubstep does suck, some doesn't.

Get this, I'm not defending the music itself, I just can't stand the thinking process that some of y'all have.

^^ I think that covers it ^^, along with if it's too loud you're too old. Some of it isn't bad but there is shit out there, no different to any gendre of music. Btw 43 and still raving So I grew up with this from my teens>

Its more of brain stimulating sounds using certain frequency and vibration sounds. There's BIG difference between a bad dubstep song and a good dubstep song. Sometimes certain people like a certain song depends on there preferrable frequency.

Give it a chance, some of it is badass( I mean "good", so ,no snotty comments).
I hated it the first time I heard it....then I heard some different artists and I love it now.
