Anything that's artificial is by definition lacking naturalness, it's a sham, a mimicry.

No matter how you slice it, spin it, or justify it, the consciousness of a computer will remain artificial. The day a computer can experience the heights and depths of life and love and be willing to die for that love then perhaps you have a sentient golem. But I think the best you'll see is a high functioning sociopath who makes believe that they are alive and real.
