What would you do with 20 million dollars?

I'd give half of it away to family, friends and heavily researched charities that I know the money will go to good use instead of giving bonuses and raises to CEO's and etc....

The other half, I would make sound investments in the medical field as well as technology to keep building up my net worth so that money spent is money earned. That way I could continue to keep building businesses and jobs to "spread the wealth" so to speak..

I would live out the rest of my life happy and worry-free financially. My family and closest friends would be taken care of no doubt, with each a substancial one time gift in their bank acct. to make their lives easier.

One thing though, after getting myself set up with a nice house, furnishings and a vehicle,and having all bills paid for, I would live my life non-extravagant...as if I only made 75k-100k per year.. And I would limit and guage my cost of living to reflect as such..

I wouldn't be one of those cases , like a powerball winner who ends up broke within a few years... nope would not happen, I simply would not let it ..

It saddens me to see people coming into that kind of money, and they not be smart about it, spend it like water while living the high life, and not help those deservingly in need out ..

Then all at once it is gone, and they have nothing to show for it but overpriced toys and houses that they end up having repo'd by the bank.. while never having gotten the satisfaction of having a chance to help a struggling family out of desperate times they are going through..

Some don't realize, the importance of how much one could totally change someone's life and their family with a fraction of that kind of money..

Luckily, I do ...

Unluckily, I am one of those struggling people with a family going through hard times... and only dream of winning the powerball or something similar to make my dream, and others dreams come true ....

I'd buy a big ranch in northern BC. Spend about 500k building a machine shop and start building fancy custom SXS shotguns full time.

I would live my dream. I would buy the Pontiac
Silverdome and start the world's largest, 24 hour,
non-stop praise and worship center with a monster
of an outreach ministry. Southeast Michigan would
never be the same.

i would buy 20m things from the doller store

One of the main things I would do is have a high-rise built to house homeless people.

Give 18 million away to charity and live on 100 acres in the desert simply.
