If you read the Bible carefully, you will see that more than once it talks about symbolism and/or signs in the Heavens. God is the ultimate artist. He created the Heavens and Earth and everything good. As the end times come upon us, we are starting to see some of the signs that Revalation warns us about. Not only are these things a warning, but I feel they are also glorifying God, and revealing Him to people who would not listen otherwise. I guess my point is that the Bible was not randomly created to "go along with" things in the sky. The Bible (the holy word of God), documents God's creations and miracles, which hold great mystery and symbolism. There are verses in the Bible that say mysteries will be revealed to those who seek Him. God could have made things more literal, but I think He wanted us to seek for ourselves and study His word, because it helps to build our faith and draws us closer to Him. As God's handiwork is beautiful, it is also foretelling of the glorious day to come when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. Be ready for this day!
