Now, our 60 day goal is to add as many additional cosponsors as possible and then force floor votes on both the House and Senate bills. |

Perhaps he needs to brush up on Austrian business cycles and foreign policy those two are where the vigorous support comes from, not the window dressing which they are trying to have him take |

I'd have a hard time supporting them if they were not. |

So a guarantee of life isn't there. What I'm asking is, who has the authority to write this law? Should it not fall under the 10th Amendment and be left to the states and/or the people rather than the federal government? I believe so. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1677506 Canada 03/03/2012 05:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Rand is a whack job. For the sake of American women, I hope this legislation dies. Just because you believe that life starts at conception, not everyone does. And they should have the choice to not die in a back alley trying to terminate an unwanted pregnancy. He should focus his energues on contraception and education instead, not trying to contro peopk who hild different beliefs. |

I see where you're coming from, and for the most part I agree. But they violated the constitution when they passed Roe v. Wade, and MADE it a federal matter. Now I do think perhaps something should be done to define life at conception. Things are just getting too backwards anymore. |

I support the right to abortion at anytime, up until birth. |

If this was legislation designed to give the states back the rights usurped by Roe v Wade, I'd most definitely back it but this does not reverse Roe v Wade, it mandates the Texas laws nationally that RvW attempted to overturn. One constitutional over-step does not warrant a second over-step to correct the first.
