Dude, they should be teaching his stuff in school hahahah Definitely not the best technically able musician but there's nothin' like da man's music to take you on a trip and heal ya. For me he's number 1 in a way that they should remove number 1 from all charts. Only nº2 and so on heheheh Cheers |

Humanity, as a whole, is self-interested, shallow, ignorant, violent and immoral; small wonder, therefore, that our leaders (secret or otherwise) reflect that. You want better leaders, become better people. I forgive myself, I Love myself, I'm sorry, Please forgive me, I forgive you, I love you, Thank you. God Bless You; I Bless You; Bless Yourself(~). What a calling to have - you lucky bugger! :-) (jelous woman here who has tried to play guitar throughout life but it's just not me unfortunately) Some fab female guitarists out there too i know - but the VIBE of guitar - it's for the MEN of earth to tap into! Dammit i don't have the link but someone on glp in a hendrix thread posted a site that de-coded some of Hendrix's lyrics and interviews etc. Hendrix had many 'visionary' experiences IMO and it came through in his music. What a LEGEND!!! (he could never be over-rated IMO!) Compare him to 'Crapton'....i mean....c'mon....;-) |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1001567 SAW HIM IN TULSA, 1971. IT CHANGED MY LIFE. NOW EXCUSE ME WHILE I TOUCH THE SKY. you probably mean 1970, Hendrix was dead by 71. anyhow he was really seasoned as a player by that period, rhythm and lead guitar were seemingly one for him, he would paint his lyrics on his guitar out loud. you're really lucky to have seen him before he passed under strange circumstances; asphyxiated in red wine with no blood-alcohol content present. factor in the Vesperex pills, the lying German blonde and the fact they were in London, who knows what went down. |
