I am on the "Deep Web" right now. Ask me a question?

Basically, it's an (almost)anonymous place for people to share ideas without the watchful eye of TPTB. Although they use it to.That's why there are many levels of it. You can't just go there. You have to know how to get there and even then it's not enough. This is in place for a reason,so that people who shouldn't be in there aren't.

i got the gist of it by reading most of the related threads on GLP (i think this is the best thread on the subject in terms of the OP relaying what he has seen).

sounds like a place i dont want to go since you have to wade through the filth to find the gems of info. i imagine that is by design though.

also with some light research i found out there are several of these networks that you can access. but one would think that if there is anything to it you wouldnt be able to learn about it on the "clearnet" or be able to find the browsers to download.

i hypothesize that there is an actual network out that none of us know about and the ones that do dont actually talk about to outsiders.

my conclusion is that since you have to use Tor, a government made program, to access the deep web then it is a heavily monitored trap and not worth the trouble. but kudos to the OP for checking it out for us.

I was on it last night. It's not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. There is filth on the darkweb,if you don't look up porn on it then you hunky dory.

It IS the place to be to make a connection with like minded freedom fighters who want to better humanity without destroying it at the same time. I can't wait to get back on there.

s. for currency and barter info and other stuff for them to purchase info and other stuff like setting up a board or blog on the deepnet. Apparently there is info you can only get to with barter or purchase. For instance, I saw a site that has one new supposed amazing piece of info every day or so, that you can only see after a small exchange of two coins(i want to try, but don't care for the hassle to do it). There is some kind of deepnet paypal or visa to coin exchange system but i'm not gona bother with it. I have enough things to keep track of already:P OH! And there are a couple deepnet chan boards(TorChan) to visit that are a bit more tame and interesting i must say than the BS it turned into today on the clearnet(I posted some chatter from it on here before). BTW no GLP style board to my knowledge though.

Guys, the Deep Web isn't really that cool or spooky. The urban legends surrounding it (video footage of secret gladiatorial fight clubs that rich people bet on, Tsalalnet, classified government documents about free energy devices) are much cooler than anything you'll actually find on it (some hackers talking in lingo you probably wouldn't understand, child porn and people pretending to be hitmen and serial killers).

BTW if you can find torgle, that is a relatively decent search engine for onion search's. I have found it to be better than the others for my searches(but still a limited amount of info on most subjects).

A lot of info has been coming out lately...it's like we are all able to receive more info at a time than before. So now we are receiving more at a time...and understanding it. I see it everywhere>GLP, multi media outlets and just people talking. For instance, I was talking to a customer about UFO day yesterday and it lead to us talking about coast to coast, art bell, buildaburger, illuminati, and some other jackass radio hosts that i will leave unnamed. But it really amazes me what people are talking about these days.

I was waiting on a new external hard drive to come in the mail before I continued on the deepnet.

And now I have it

Having problems with torgle. It shows over 1 million pages but no matter what I type in to search it comes up empty. Am I doing something wrong or is there a particular way to search for something specific?

BTW you still around bud? Did you find anything cool?

Oh, there you are. It's best to use one key word at a time. Did you try that? Yes, Sometimes it comes up with nada. There is a bookmark data base that is good to find stuff. I'll have to check latter and I'll help you find it.

Apart from the illegal stuff one won't find in the surface web (obviously), is the deep web all about talking or something? Because I didn't find anything exceptional about your links so far. Nothing so dark that one needs to be anonymous to talk about on the internet.

Plus, any info one can find in the web can be false and made up by the uploader. The same applies for the deep web no?

Don't get me wrong, it is all very interesting and this is a great thread. I just expected something... darker I guess.

Well, I found documents that must be downloaded a special way and there are many library's in the deep with mass amounts of random files. There are dates when they where uploaded and i'd say about %50 of them are labeled legibly. The rest Are label randomly for only the individual who uploaded it know only, i am guessing but they are all downloadable. ex> skhso84573p4968h;0.pdf

I have viewed a few of these, but there are many many more i would like to view. What i am trying to do now is set up a way to access these files through a Separate HD offline so that i don't have to risk being attacked while reading through the material online.

Then i have to discern what info can be released...plus GLP has it's keyword's and links that are not aloud like i demonstrated earlier.

So that is where i'm at and i'm having trouble with my dern External HD i just got.
