Man reunited with dog after tornado - heart wrenching photo :'(

I am glad he has his dog. Some people in this world don't have a lot of friends or even family to love. A dog at least is someone who doesn't judge and is loving. Insurance can help replace some lost things but not a pet, so I am happy for him and his dog. Dogs are pretty smart and can sense danger before we can, it could be the dog could hear the tornado or feel vibrations, and so ran to the hallway.

Thats so beautiful. I just started crying while studying in the library. The librarian saw me on camera balling my eyes out cause this truly is touching. The problem is she called the school and now I'm officially on Prozac...

Beware the ides of March. Remember we always get the strongest winds in March, then in April you have all that rain,and I have to get a new roof put on Tuesday. :(

The only thing heart wrenching is how a canine pet is given empathy but none of you have mentioned your fellow humans once. Sad.

I lost 2 dogs within the last year, the picture and story warm my heart

Love dogs. Love that picture. Unconditional love.

How much more are people worth than dogs? Alot more.

Love your neighbor people. Its easy to love those that love you. But what reward is there in that. Love everybody.

The story is about a dog and his owner, there are many other stories out there about families, homes, communities being wrecked and the survivor stories as well....sad that you found the negative in this story

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone there.

There's A LOT of humans that the only thing they have left in their life is a dog. They can be the most important thing in the world to them.

I know because I'm in the business, and that's all I have left right now is my white boxer, Buddy. Freaking human attorney and human accountant caused me to lose my business that I'm working on rebuilding and my home.

Don't underestimate their importance in people's lives. From house pets to search and rescue dogs saving lives to police dogs. Dogs waking people when their house os on fire, alerting them when their blood sugar is low or high, guiding the blind across the busy street, risking their lives to protect their owners.

I feel so bad for all those victims and everything they lost. The thread is about this dog. there's other threads about the people too.
