US Congress passes authoritarian anti-protest law Bill H.R. 347

A bill passed Monday in the US House of Representatives and Thursday in the Senate would make it a felony—a serious criminal offense punishable by lengthy terms of incarceration—to participate in many forms of protest associated with the Occupy Wall Street protests of last year. Several commentators have dubbed it the “anti-Occupy” law, but its implications are far broader.

The bill—H.R. 347, or the “Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011”—was passed by unanimous consent in the Senate, while only Ron Paul and two other Republicans voted against the bill in the House of Representatives (the bill passed 388-3). Not a single Democratic politician voted against the bill.

Ultimately what this will do is essentially cancel any idea of a peaceful protest and create violent riots. Watch and see.....

Sneak????

They do not sneak anymore. They simply DO. And, if you, or I do not like it, we can be made to disappear. Closer and closer we come to the end of our way of life. It will not be long.

Maybe that is what the Myans' were talking about with the end of the long count calander, maybe it is the end of the "world" as we know it and we will start anew. Possibly through war, possibly through peace, who knows, but things are so messed up now that it will take some serious " hell raising " to bring things back around.

I would assume we are looking at a new civil war.

What baffles me is, if we take the same view as G.W.B., that "the constitution is just a piece of paper," why do they even bother to pen legislation at all? By this logic, all of these ridiculous bills coming out of DC are irrelevant. We can take solace in the fact when anti-American bills like H.R. 347 get passed it stirs up handfuls of the populace. I do believe Kennedy made a great point with his statement "those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."

Who the hell thinks up the initial seed for the bill? Is it some fucked up government dude, sat in a padded cell scribbling chaos across a notepad, with a crayon? Once his maniac scribbling is finished he then passes it to his keeper? Who takes it to the next person for fine tuning? Once they're happy they forward it to congress for approval?

One person or a small think tank come up with the initial shit, who are they?

..& why wouldn't they. If the only consequences to these bills is a handful of "Ignorant Hippies" camped out in a park, or a few karma-pinned threads ranting to an obscure conspiracy site.

Even if you are right what good does it do to rise up in anarchy.

This will only bring the hammer down on you.

No war is won except in the mind.

Leave them alone they will do as they please and we will get hurt for being defiant unto them.

Stay behaved and peaceful no belligerence obedience works better every time.

And when nothing will work at least you do not get your self shot or someone else.

If it ever came to some kind of war civilly then trust me you would not want what that will bring......lots of death of your own family and friends and neighbors.

No war inside unless it is life or death and the sides are drew by the diplomats the leaders....then war it would be.

Only a mad man would want such as that look into our past only a mad man would want that.

I do not care what anybody says in general talk soup. I trust what they decide because they know what we know not.

I do not trust the public I trust the authority.

I feel unsafe with out doing what they tell me to do because they tell us what to do so they do not have to clean up our messes or put back what we tear up...I could not imagine them damaging their tax payers and consumers and their supporters.

That would be just stupid....they may not openly say what it is they see as a serious threat but they see one and it is not Joe mowing his yard or field next door.

They know we do not know we only know social soups..
