A great lifestyle, simple enjoyment of a great piece of property, from what I heard. I've never been to Australia but people seemed to enjoy living there a lot.

I dunno, but have you ever heard of the Aussies taking the streets in protest or anything of the sort? They seem to take whatever the government dishes them without any protest.

Other than sterilization of females who are carriers of hemophilia or some other health condition that would threaten the life of the girl upon onset of menstruation, I CANNOT think of a single reason why ANY 12-year-old WHO IS MENTALLY ABLE TO EVEN UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF "CONSENT" should EVER be sterilized.

In other words, ANY child who would offer their consent to STERILIZATION at the age of 12 OTHER THAN THE VERY NARROW REASON CITED ABOVE is obviously not competent to be able to make that decision.

The rise of fascism is the only reason I can come up with for "the state" to seek to provide rights of consent to mere 12-year-olds that have historically been reserved for adults (individuals 18 years old or older).

Today's fascists must want 12-year-olds to be able to join fascism-promoting youth organizations that are akin to the Hitler Youth of the 1930s and 1940s without parental consent.

You had a vote on displacing the Queen just a few years ago didn't you? Was your vote to keep her, viewed by you probably as a vote for continuation of the nice status-quo, taken by "them" as permission to remove benefits that generally accrue to those not affiliated with a distant monarch?

Exactly. Start teaching them early to stand up for themselves and that people do not always have their best interests at heart. Teach them to be wise and discerning.
