I had this too, went to a doc (just my family doc, $20 copay)in the middle of an attack so they could get a feel for it, my bp was 160/100, face red, hives, just, freaking out, shaking, heart racing. can barely talk right when they hit.

he gave me a script for Paxil and Ativan. I took them for a good 6 months until I learned what it felt like to not be freaked out all the time, then stopped taking them b/c I hate taking any meds.... Did fairly okay but

Well, big mistake, it came back again, so I took my first paxil in 6 months today :-( I guess I just need help, can't do it on my own...

You can get help from just a normal doc, it is pretty common these days, what with everything going to shit, if you are predisposed to anxiety to begin with, it's not a fun time lately...
