Re: A Little Birdie Told Me Today!
Ugh, how frustrating. It really does make you wonder. 8 out of 8 is no coincidence. My friend has satellite TV and her lousy reception is driving her nuts...related perhaps?

Missing Time Warp...

Flash of light, as time slows.
Muffled sounds, now time froze.
Set back down, to whence you came.
Odd feeling, something not same.
What just happened, mind obstructed.
Guess what friend, you've been abducted.

 Quoting: WatchmenOnTheWall

I actually had a different kind of time warp.

I went to my GLP favourites and looked with amazement as it apeared to me that no-one had posted anything for a day, all comments had stopped on the 13th April. Several LONG seconds of confusion washed over me, checked the date on my phone expecting to see SAT 14th April but it too stated FRI 13th April, I was still so sure that it was SAT that I turned on the telly to check.

Your message above reminded me of this and when I started to reply I had to think about it again as it felt like it had happened several days ago not just two... weird.

I have a chronic illness that I have been dealing with for a few years now and the last couple of weeks I have been spending upto 14hrs physically in bed, not sleeping any more than normal, for me a good nights sleep is about 4-5 hrs of broken sleep out of approx 7-8 hrs physically in bed. So I would think that being in bed more would cause me to 'lose' time, not actually gain a whole day.

As I said... weird blink

Very strange things happening these days. Just today for me, I had 8 job estimates to do today for the company I work for.

Of course I use a GPS to get from one address to another. Well every address I went to, the GPS gave me troubles its never done before.

When I typed a house number in as 316, the GPS said "arriving at 299". And every address did something similar. Not one was correct. It also sent me down the wrong streets, and it missed always by being off by one block.

That was very strange, and I've never seen that in all my years of using a GPS. And especially having 8 out of 8 failures all in a row.

Ok, I'll be the one to ask the asinine question we're all wondering. Do they play basketball to blend in somewhat? Some of those men and women are freakishly tall and the average height is getting taller every season!

I was offline but back now. Sad to see I was not even mentioned as missed even though I have been posting since the beginning.

That is very strange, but I know what you mean. Time has seemed more like a variable than a constant lately. Sometimes I'll be absolutely certain that hours have passed when it's actually only been minutes. Sometimes it happens the other way around.

The strangest thing is in the past few weeks I've felt like I can influence the rate of time passing in my reality. I'm sure this sounds woo woo, but if I need another few minutes to finish a project, time seems to slow way down. If I'm waiting anxiously for something it's as if I can speed things up a bit just by wishing it to be so. Not huge chunks of time, mind you, but just up to maybe half an hour. It seems to tie in with the posts about time going faster and faster no matte what the clock says. Is time becoming increasingly fluid and subjective? Anyone else experiencing this sort of thing?

I'm on my tablet now, but I finally got a new laptop to replace the one with the broken hinges. :) It's amazing how much cheaper they are now!

I had to get the files and pictures off the old one so my husband could reformat it for the kids to plug into a monitor and use for gaming. It took me hours to organize and save everything I had accumulated over 4 years...just imagine how bogged down your caches get!

I went to start button, clicked on network. It showed something called "the owl"....computer sorta froze up for a little...so I closed it out, and when back and checked again. And "it" was no longer there....hmm things really are never what them seem

Re: A Little Birdie Told Me Today!
OP, one day I was on this thread way back before page 100....my computer was running slow for some weird reason.
I went to start button, clicked on network. It showed something called "the owl"....computer sorta froze up for a little...so I closed it out, and when back and checked again. And "it" was no longer there....hmm things really are never what them seem

Stuff here from GLP infecting computers. This is my 3rd time getting it here, but the first two I could correct, but not this bad boy. It's a great trojan that completely hides itself, and even when you think you got it, it reboots itself when the system reloads.

Unless you know where and what it is, and you go there to delete it manually, it's will never be solved.

And even though, sometimes it tears up your hard drive anyways where you need to replace it, or it takes out something on the motherboard. sux!

What operating system are you using? Last year my computer running vista decided that it hated explorer after a series of updates. You might try using Firefox as your browser...I like it a lot better.

I hate vista, and the virus even stops my firefox from loading.

I use windows 7 which I love with internet explorer 9.

It seems that reformatting might be your only option. That sucks.

My husband is a programmer and general computer whiz. He reformatted his computer and decided not to put iTunes back on it because he hates that program. It reappeared anyway and no matter what he tries he can't get rid of it completely...he'd never seen anything like it. That sort of thing really frightens me.
I don't know where you get your delusions, laser brain.

Even my google search was hijacked. When I click on a searched for link, it takes me to another very commercial search engine.
